If you work in light mode, everything just got easier to pick out at a glance.
The old light theme had a problem: nearly everything was the same pale shade. Status badges, section headings, the pipeline bar — they all blended into the background, so finding the one thing you were looking for meant reading instead of glancing.
Status badges are filled in now
Draft, Signed, Viewed, Needs fix — these used to be faint outlines you had to hunt for. Now each one is a solid, colored badge with white lettering. You can spot the state of a job from across the room, or on a phone in bright sun on a job site.
Dark mode keeps the badges exactly as they were.
The pipeline reads as stages again
The funnel on your dashboard used to be six slightly different greens, and the first stage was so pale it disappeared into the card behind it. It now runs warm — sand at the start, through amber and ochre, into deep clay for live jobs — so each stage is a different kind of color, not just a slightly different shade. Finished work sits in a quiet neutral, out of the way.
Every label on it was checked to make sure it reads clearly on the color underneath it.
Warmer paper, clearer numbers
Backgrounds picked up real daylight warmth instead of a flat grey-beige, and dollar figures and measurements moved to a deeper teal so a number never looks like a button you're supposed to tap. Money and metric cards now sit on their own softly tinted background, so a card full of numbers looks like a card full of numbers.
Questions look like questions
When we need one thing clarified before pricing a job right, that question now sits on a warm clay-tinted row instead of the same grey as everything else — so it reads as something asked of you, not another line in a list.
Nothing changed for dark mode
If you use dark mode, this update doesn't touch you — it's identical to before, on purpose. You can switch between the two any time from the toggle in the top bar.
