What's new
Recent updates and changes to BidCraft Tile, written in plain English.
- 2026-10-08Fewer pop-ups when you sign in somewhere new
The "Put BidCraft on your phone" card now shows once per person, never if you already use the app, and the Guild launch announcement is retired.
- 2026-10-07CC works with HighLevel, and failed sends say so
CC a second person when HighLevel sends your proposals, keep two addresses on a client, and see right away when a proposal does not go out.
- 2026-10-07Project pickers fixed, and Completed jobs say Completed
The task editor and the crew receipt picker list your projects again, crew no longer see dollar totals on Projects, and finished jobs show a Completed badge.
- 2026-10-06Projects and Tasks open faster, and every task shows
The Projects list and the Tasks board load much less data, the board shows only live jobs, and busy accounts see every task that belongs there.
- 2026-10-05New bids group prep, waterproofing and grout into your tile lines
Scope drafts now read the way most contractors write their own bids: prep, waterproofing and grout inside the tile line, demo and haul-off as one line, no permit line unless the job needs one or your catalog prices it. Prefer every step on its own line? Pick it in Proposal Settings.
- 2026-10-05Every bid you send now teaches BidCraft your real prices
Each proposal you send notes the price you actually sent for each catalog service on it, one price per job, updated on resend and set to what the client signed. Range prices follow. Fixed prices never change without you.
- 2026-10-05Click any line to set its price, six ways
Your job-type templates now read like a price sheet: how each line is priced, the price, what it costs you and your margin. Click a line to change its name, its price, its materials and its tasks in one panel. The price you set there is the price your bids use.
- 2026-10-05Pricing Strategy and Project Templates are now one page: Pricing templates
How you charge and the job types every bid starts from now live together on Pricing templates, under Settings. Each setting is a tile you tap to change. The hourly rate is gone because bids never used it.
- 2026-10-03A simpler menu: 9 items, and everything one tap from where you work
Calendar and Showcase are tabs on Projects, one Timesheets item, Settings replaces Office and holds your pricing and proposal settings, your profile is under your name, and Community moved up.
- 2026-10-03Community opens right where you left off
Tapping Community now drops you into General Discussion, or the last channel or message you were in, instead of a blank page.
- 2026-10-03Your flat and per-item prices now hold
A service with a flat price or a per-item price charges exactly that on every bid, and two niches cost twice what one does.
- 2026-10-03Get BidCraft from the App Store or Google Play
The "put BidCraft on your phone" steps now send you straight to the right app store, and your welcome email got a fresh look.
- 2026-10-03My time now shows a month or a quarter
Next to the week, My time has a month calendar and a quarter at a glance, each with every job against its bid for the whole stretch.
- 2026-10-03Clients now call or email you from a card in their portal
Portal messages are retired. Clients see your phone and email on their portal Home, and you email them from the project. Old messages are kept.
- 2026-10-03Proposals are dated the day you send them, and your terms keep the right price
Pick any date for a proposal, and the price, deposit and schedule in edited terms now follow the proposal.
- 2026-10-03The Team tab: everyone's week, who's on site, and your roster
The Team tab on Time & Team now shows every person's days side by side, who is clocked in right now, and a card for each teammate with their hours, time off and certifications.
- 2026-10-03Time & Team: your week at a glance, and every job against its bid
Timesheets is now Time & Team. Your week shows as bars by job, each job shows the days logged against the days you bid, and Team moved in next door.
- 2026-10-02A calmer proposal page
One bar tells you where the job stands, history fits on one line, notes are small chips, and CC and the signable-until date now live inside Send.
- 2026-10-02Your account setup link keeps working, and a new one is one tap away
The link we email after you buy no longer stops working, and Forgot password sends a fresh setup link if you never set a password.
- 2026-10-02A smoother first day
The dashboard greets you by name, the welcome tour tells it straight, Power up my catalog goes somewhere, and forms behave on a phone.
- 2026-10-02Your first proposal gets a real celebration
Building, sending and signing your first proposal each get their own moment, rewards show up the second you earn them, and celebrations wait while Biddy is talking to you.
- 2026-10-01A dashboard that picks up where you left off
Your last three jobs are at the top with their next step, a search box finds any job, and the Guild now rewards clocking in and posting in Community.
- 2026-10-01Biddy can edit material notes, and the notes box shows everything
Ask Biddy to reword or clear a line's material notes or "Not included" list, and edit material notes yourself in a box big enough to read.
- 2026-10-01Full-size photos now upload everywhere else too
Photos of paper notes, task photos, material photos, Community pictures and GIFs, profile photos, certificates, SOP files and asset-library documents no longer fail when the file is big.
- 2026-10-01Typing "yes" to Biddy now confirms the change
Answer a Biddy confirmation card with a plain "yes" or "do it" and the change runs, same as tapping Confirm.
- 2026-09-30Biddy is clear about materials costs, and big jobs measure right
Materials costs you give Biddy now stick and never quietly change your price, and projects with more than one bathroom no longer double-count square footage.
- 2026-09-29Full-size photos upload, and receipts take screenshots and PDFs
Big photos — like the ones clients text you — now upload on every screen, and you can add a receipt from a screenshot, your camera roll, or a PDF.
- 2026-09-29Change orders now update your payment schedule
A signed change order set to roll into the remaining milestones now adjusts your unpaid milestones and the payment schedule on the proposal, whether you get paid through Stripe, HighLevel or on your own.
- 2026-09-28A calmer Scope & pricing page, part 4
A line's materials are a short list now, and editing one opens right under it with one Save.
- 2026-09-28A calmer Scope & pricing page, part 5
The scope now looks the way the design was drawn: a summary bar at the top, icons on every line, room cards, and the open line beside the list.
- 2026-09-27A calmer Scope & pricing page, part 1
The bid steps are slimmer, orange now only marks Lock & build, real errors show in red, and you can remove a line on a computer.
- 2026-09-27A calmer Scope & pricing page, part 2
Each line is now a clean row grouped by room, and tapping it opens one panel with everything about that line.
- 2026-09-27A calmer Scope & pricing page, part 3
A line's price now reads as rate × quantity = total, and you can change any one of the three.
- 2026-09-27A clearer project Home page
Opening a job now shows one next step, one orange button, the job at a glance and your showcase badges front and center.
- 2026-09-27Invoices now have due dates
Every invoice you send says when it is due, and a late one shows as Overdue for you and your client. It can still be paid.
- 2026-09-27Proposal Settings is now a page of cards you tap to open
Proposal Settings uses the full screen, shows each setting as a card with what is saved on it, and every card saves on its own. One price choice, one line-detail choice, payment quick picks, a logo switch with a preview — and no more presets or tone picker: your voice comes from your own proposals.
- 2026-09-27Proposals now have a "valid until" date
Every proposal and change order you send can expire, so nobody signs last season's price. It is on at 30 days, you can change it per send, and extend it any time.
- 2026-09-27A heads-up when a proposal expires or an invoice is late
BidCraft now tells you the morning after a proposal link expires or an invoice goes overdue, and can email your client a reminder if you want it to.
- 2026-09-25Add Video shows its choices again on your phone
On a room with nothing in it yet, tapping Add Video looked like it did nothing. The Record now and Choose from gallery choices now open right under the button.
- 2026-09-25GIFs that move, and a heads-up when someone answers your post
Animated GIFs now play in community chat, the bell tells you when someone replies to or reacts to your post, and your phone can buzz for replies, DMs and new posts.
- 2026-09-24The Bid button opens your proposal once it is built
Once a proposal exists, tapping Bid on the project page takes you straight to it instead of back to the scope.
- 2026-09-24Each room prices with its own tile
On a job with several rooms, a line for one room now uses that room's tile, size and pattern for its multiplier, not a blend of every room in the house.
- 2026-09-24Rooms only pick up the fixtures your tile goes around
A room picks up the toilet, vanity, tub and shower off the plans, not the refrigerator, dishwasher or the vanity from the powder room next door.
- 2026-09-24Press Analyze and walk away
Re-analyze documents keeps going after you close the page, and a file or pass that stops partway is sorted out without you watching.
- 2026-09-24The proposal editor keeps your rooms together
On a job grouped by room or floor, the editor shows the same headings as your proposal and your client's page, and lines stay in their room while you edit.
- 2026-09-24The schedule's tile is on your materials list
The tile a schedule or designer spec sheet names now shows on your materials list, at $0 when the client supplies it or at your price when you do.
- 2026-09-24Wall sheets Biddy cannot place are asked about, all at once
An elevation sheet whose room Biddy cannot find now shows up on one question with every room in your bid to pick from, instead of being left out.
- 2026-09-24Set the waste for each tiled surface
Every tiled surface now has its own Waste %, with a sensible default for the tile and lay, and the tile you or the homeowner buy includes it.
- 2026-09-23A wall is not a tile area — and the height the sheet prints wins
Three fixes to the wall sizes read off elevations: the band height comes off what the sheet actually prints, a floor is only offered when the drawing prints it, and a wall with no tile height is asked about as a wall.
- 2026-09-23Floors now come from the enlarged plans
On an architect permit set, bathroom and bedroom floors are measured on the enlarged 1/4 inch plans instead of the small overall plan, so more of them arrive as measured numbers.
- 2026-09-23A schedule line for two rooms now lands on both
When a tile schedule lists two rooms on one line, like Laundry & Mudroom, and the plans draw them as separate rooms, you now get a card for each, each with its own floor size off the plan.
- 2026-09-23Permit-set floors stop at the wall
On an architect permit set, floors are measured to the face of the walls, never through them, and every floor that still needs a look says why.
- 2026-09-23The shower is now measured off the plan too
On a CAD drawing set, we find the shower inside the bathroom from the drawing itself and measure its floor and its tiled walls, even when the elevations never dimension the shower.
- 2026-09-23Wall sizes use the tile height the sheet prints, wherever it prints it
Shower walls get sized when the elevations print only a height, a valve or counter height no longer passes for a tile height, and a wall that is only partly dimensioned is asked about honestly.
- 2026-09-23A floor-to-ceiling note or a labelled niche on an elevation now counts
A floor-to-ceiling note on an elevation sizes that wall, a wall with a length and no tile height is asked about instead of skipped, and a niche the drawing only labels is counted.
- 2026-09-22A wall drawing is not a room on the job
Elevation sheets for rooms nobody is tiling — a closet, an office feature wall — no longer arrive as room cards, and the empty Room 1 gets used up by the first real room.
- 2026-09-22Every size the drawings gave you, on one sheet — and one tap to take them
A new plan sizes sheet lists every surface with its size and how that size was read, so you can accept a whole house at once instead of one check at a time.
- 2026-09-22The area schedule in the corner of the sheet is not a list of rooms
Rows like Total Under Roof and Main Level Livable were being offered to you as rooms to add. They are square-footage totals, and they are gone.
- 2026-09-22Put the sections of a proposal in whatever order you like
Drag the sections of a proposal into a new order from the print menu, and set the default order for each proposal style in Proposal Settings.
- 2026-09-22A schedule written in codes now lands as tile on surfaces
When the room schedule says TL-10 and the products live in the designer's spec book, we read the spec book. Rooms come back with a floor and a shower floor carrying real tile, and the pile of "Is TL-10 part of your bid?" questions is gone.
- 2026-09-22Floor areas measured off your drawings, not guessed at
On a CAD drawing set, BidCraft now measures each room floor off the sheet itself at its printed scale and fills the number in for you, instead of offering a read for you to check.
- 2026-09-22Floors measured on an architect's permit set, too
An architect's permit set prints its scale under each drawing instead of in the title block. BidCraft now reads it there, checks it against the dimensions on the sheet, and measures the floors.
- 2026-09-22Some floor sizes are now measured off the drawing, not read off it
On a CAD drawing set, we can trace the room on the sheet itself and measure it at the sheet's own scale. Those sizes say "measured off the plan" and come out the same every time.
- 2026-09-22The niche, the bench, and the wall that only goes to 42 inches
Shower niches and benches drawn on the elevations now come to you as a one-tap count, and a wall the drawings clad to four feet or less lands as a wainscot instead of full-height wall tile.
- 2026-09-22One room, even when nine detail sets all draw it
A room the overall plan shows and a detail sheet redraws is one room now — so you stop being asked to choose between two pictures of your kitchen, and the "add any of these?" list stops showing everything twice.
- 2026-09-22A re-read can now take rooms back
When we re-read your drawings and no longer find a room we made a card for, the empty card moves to "more rooms on the plans" instead of sitting in your bid. Anything you've touched stays exactly where it is.
- 2026-09-22The rooms you do not tile are offered, not added
A theater floored in carpet and a gym floored in rubber stop showing up in your bid, and the plainly named room stops sharing its question with rooms that only sound like it.
- 2026-09-22Say it before you drop the files
The box for telling Biddy about a job now shows up the moment you open the upload tray, under the drop zone — not after the first file lands. And a lay pattern on a spec sheet is read as the floor, not as a surface you get asked about.
- 2026-09-22The sizes the drawings read now show on the surfaces
A surface with a size waiting says so on its own tile, with a Use button to take it — and the pile of near-identical "use that?" questions is now one row.
- 2026-09-22Room sizes now come off the sheet that draws the room biggest
When a package includes a detail set for a room, the starting floor size is read off that sheet instead of the small overall plan — so rooms that used to come back with no size now come back with one to check.
- 2026-09-22Wall sizes read off the elevations, the way you would read them
A shower whose sheet prints seven wall runs used to come back as one panel. Now the runs get added up and multiplied by the printed tile height, the priced surface gets the whole field, and a floor is never read off a wall drawing.
- 2026-09-22It measures the bathroom now, not the shower inside it
Sizes read off a floor plan used to come back as the shower stall on some baths. Now the drawn box has to hold the room name — and showers get a pan size of their own to check.
- 2026-09-22Every surface says which tile goes on it — and the room notes got short
The tile now shows on the surface itself, not just in the note. And the note stopped reprinting the spec sheet at you — no column headings, no repeated finishes, and nobody's sales rep.
- 2026-09-22You can see it working
While a drawing set is being read, every step now moves, counts the time it has been going, and says when it last heard from the read — including the measuring pass, which used to happen in silence.
- 2026-09-21"Bath 2 Shower Floor" is a room and a surface, not a room
Spec sheets that name the room and the surface in one Location cell now land the tile on the right surface of the right room, instead of asking you which room "Powder Floor" is.
- 2026-09-21Pick which pages of a proposal print, and PDFs stop cutting lines in half
Print and Download PDF now ask which sections go on paper, remember your answer, and break pages between line items instead of through them.
- 2026-09-21One room, one card — even when every sheet calls it something different
Laundry on the plan, Laundry Room on the elevations and LAUNDRY on the spec sheet are now one room card, with the tile and the sizes together on it.
- 2026-09-21A designer's spec sheet is read as your tile schedule
Sheets titled "Specifications" or "Selections" — location, tile, vendor, item number, colour, grout — are now recognised as the tile schedule they are, even when the fine print mentions take-offs.
- 2026-09-21A "vanity floor" is the bathroom floor, and a trim edge is trim
Spec sheets that say Vanity Floor, Vanity Wall Tile or Shower Wall Tile Trim Edge now land on the floor, the wall tile and a tile liner — the way you would have read them.
- 2026-09-17Deleting your data is now a link on your profile
The page that explains how to delete project data or close your account used to be something you had to know the address of. It's a link at the bottom of My Profile now.
- 2026-09-13A plan read that stops now tells you it stopped
The Plans card can't spin forever any more, two rooms numbered 101 in two buildings stay two rooms, and a quick check you've answered stops coming back.
- 2026-09-13Write builder proposals one way and homeowner proposals another
Keep more than one proposal style, tag a job with the kind of client it's for, and the right shape gets picked for you.
- 2026-09-13A render sheet called "Bath One" asks which bath it is
Sheets titled by count instead of by name now get a question and your existing baths as the answers, rather than a brand-new room. Plus three schedule fixes — a product on the wrong room after a page break, a floor border read as wall tile, and pencil liners that used to land nowhere.
- 2026-09-13Tell Biddy about the job before it reads it
The "Anything Biddy should know?" box moved into the upload tray, right above the button that starts the read — and now every part of the read listens to it, not just which rooms get picked.
- 2026-09-12Forgot to clock in? Add the hours afterwards
Add worked hours for any past day — on a project, a task, or for a crew member. They count on the timesheet, and changing a submitted week re-opens it for approval.
- 2026-09-12Subbed out a line? Say so — and type what labor really cost
Cost Analysis now lets you mark a line as subcontracted, take every material off it in one tap, and click the Labor number to type what it actually came to.
- 2026-09-11Read your whole document set again whenever you need to
A Re-analyze documents button on the Plans card reads every file again from scratch, keeps your answers, and offers a start-over for a bad first match.
- 2026-09-11Add photos and notes to a plan room, then analyze the whole picture
Rooms from your plans now take your own photos, videos, and notes, and one press reads the sheets and the new context together.
- 2026-09-11The product sets the quantity, the bar is as long as its dates, and ten badges for your showcase
Material rows now read their quantity from the product you picked, and the product opens in a popup. Gantt bars honour their dates, arrows keep up, and you can remove a dependency right on the board. Add task photos from the list. One duplicate finder. Showcase badges on the homepage.
- 2026-09-10Keep each tile selection and reread individual plan sheets
Keep each tile selection, see which surfaces still need measurements, and read an individual sheet again.
- 2026-09-08A simpler way to review an upload
Uploading past proposals now walks you through two short steps. Everything starts checked, prices say where they came from, and a room priced as one number can be split with a single question.
- 2026-09-08Materials on every line, and numbers that only count once
Add materials to any line on your bid — matched or not. Two lines can't bill the same wall twice. A wrong product pick stays blank instead of pricing 387 bags of nothing. And re-drafting with open checks asks instead of refusing.
- 2026-09-08Your proposals, laid out your way
BidCraft now learns how you lay out a proposal — by room, one price per room — from the ones you upload, and there are two switches under Proposal Settings if you'd rather just set it yourself.
- 2026-09-08Type the price you know, and a tile line that comes back complete every time
Every material row takes your cost now — and it wins. Regenerating a tile line always lands mortar, grout, caulk, alignment and the tile, the same way each run. Material titles lead; the flags moved right.
- 2026-09-07Change orders no longer stack when you confirm twice
Asking Biddy to create a change order that was already drafted used to add the whole thing again. Now it points you at the draft you already have.
- 2026-09-07Who supplies the tile — now a per-job question, and waste follows it
Set tile supply right on the Bid page, and your waste factor finally gets added to the material you're actually buying.
- 2026-09-06Clean up your service catalog
A health line at the top of Services, a duplicate finder that merges copies into one, and an owner-only Start over for when it's easier to begin again.
- 2026-09-06The price you lock is the price you send
Two bugs that quietly inflated proposals are fixed, and any line that does price differently from your scope now says so on the line.
- 2026-09-03A brighter light mode
Light mode got a warm, sunlit makeover — status badges you can spot from across the room, a pipeline you can actually read, and grounds that look like daylight instead of grey.
- 2026-09-02Links in Community chat are clickable now
Paste a web address into any channel, DM, or thread and it comes out as a real link that opens in a new tab.
- 2026-09-02Every elevation sheet ends up somewhere
- 2026-09-02Your project page is now a command center
Seven buttons instead of a shifting strip of chips, rooms that hold their own measurements and questions, and a scope that shows you real prices before the proposal exists.
- 2026-08-31Every scheduled job now sits on one timeline
A new Calendar page shows all your jobs side by side so you can see which crews are on what this week — and where two jobs are about to collide.
- 2026-08-31Your dashboard is now a command center
A pipeline you can click, your setup steps living with your real tasks, the week's schedule, and an activity feed that shows what happened while you were on a job.
- 2026-08-25Spec sheets, renders and photographed takeoffs read properly
- 2026-08-24Bill a job the client agreed to on a handshake
- 2026-08-22New stuff shows up on your dashboard instead of hiding in Help
- 2026-08-20Send your client a payment receipt any time
- 2026-08-20Voice notes can run as long as the walkthrough does
- 2026-08-19An optional line now looks like a line
Add-ons and Good/Better/Best alternatives sit in the itemized list with their full description, quantity and unit price — and Scope Review tells you up front what your client gets to decide.
- 2026-08-19Send the takeoff too — and get real square footage
- 2026-08-19Whole-house scopes come out by floor, and they stop coming out empty
A twenty-one room package used to draft as a bare list with no judgment in it. Now BidCraft works through the house a few rooms at a time, prices per area, and groups the lines by floor the way you'd walk the job.
- 2026-08-18Let the client pick — add-ons and Good / Better / Best on your proposals
Mark any line as an optional add-on, or group alternatives into a choice your client picks one of. They tick and choose on the signing page, the total moves live, and everything downstream bills what they actually chose.
- 2026-08-18Your plans card moved to the top, and the sheets zoom
The three-step card now leads your rooms instead of hiding under them, step three says what your part is, every quick check says why it's asking, and any sheet you tap opens big enough to actually read.
- 2026-08-18Sheets you can actually read, and a card that stops guessing
Zoom into a drawing and it sharpens instead of blurring, the room you're being asked about is outlined on every picture, the plans card no longer says "0 rooms" while it's still working, and rooms get measured off the drawings again.
- 2026-08-17Drop the whole set, then hit Analyze
Add every file in the builder's package before anything gets read, get a note on each room saying what the schedule specified, and answer wall heights once instead of seventeen times.
- 2026-08-16Drop the whole builder package in
A 37-sheet drawing set and a tile schedule now go in as-is. BidCraft picks out the sheets with tile on them, builds the rooms, and shows you the crop behind every number.
- 2026-08-16Tile is on the shelf — 2,600 of them, with prices that stay current
The catalog now stocks field tile, mosaics, trim & deco, and slab & stone from Floor & Décor, priced at retail with the date we last checked. Your proposals fill in a real tile instead of leaving the line blank.
- 2026-08-12Search that finds things, and materials that say why they're there
"thinset" used to return nothing. Materials now get picked out of your own catalog and sized to the job, every one of them says how it got there, and one tap makes a correction stick.
- 2026-08-11Tile is a category now — and you can click into a product
Field Tile, Mosaic, Trim & Deco and Slab & Stone are real filters. Catalog rows open for the full details. And adding a product to your materials fills in its type and your cost instead of leaving both blank.
- 2026-08-10Your billing history, and messages that tell you what actually happened
Every charge on your account is now listed on the Billing page with a receipt link — and if a payment fails, BidCraft tells you that instead of saying your trial ended.
- 2026-08-10Find Products is a catalog you can actually browse
Search by name, item code, or supplier. Filter by category and price. Anything from your own dealer's price list is marked so you can see which rows carry your pricing.
- 2026-08-10Bill in progress draws
Add an invoice to a job by hand when the payment schedule you wrote at proposal time doesn't match how the work actually went.
- 2026-08-10Who supplies the tile — now a per-job answer
Set tile supply on a single project instead of flipping your whole pricing setup, mark one material client-supplied, and stop getting proposals that contradict your own setting.
- 2026-08-10Your receipts are working overtime
Every receipt you photograph now builds a price history, remembers your supplier's item numbers, and quietly stacks your leftovers on a new Inventory tab.
- 2026-08-09Proposal uploads you've already reviewed stop asking to be reviewed
Accepted upload batches now leave the Pending review list for good — and the notes you wrote on your original line items come along for the ride.
- 2026-08-09Your time clock now fills in actual crew days
If the crew clocked in on a task, Cost Analysis offers you the day count instead of making you remember it.
- 2026-08-09Every material gets a page
Tap a material's name for the whole story — a photo, your cost next to the supplier's price, the specs, every price you've paid, and which jobs it turns up on. Also new — set where you usually buy, and get your dealer's whole catalog into your search.
- 2026-08-09Every job now has a P&L
One page per job — contract, change orders, collected, spent, and what you actually kept. Print it, PDF it, or hand the CSVs to your bookkeeper.
- 2026-08-09Bulk markups by voice, stock from the material page, and a tidier Materials page
Tell Biddy "mark up all waterproofing by 10%" and it happens. Update inventory right from a material's page. Library-wide settings get their own home, the spreadsheet gets real row lines, and the starter kit becomes something you choose.
- 2026-08-09The Materials page reads like a spreadsheet now
Your materials list got real columns — category, where it came from, your cost, markup, and what it charges out at — and tapping a row opens a preview beside the list so you can work down a shelf without leaving the page.
- 2026-08-09Tools & Equipment is its own expense category now
Saws, rentals, blades and bits get their own line on a job instead of hiding inside your material cost.
- 2026-08-08Change-order links now open the original — and copy buttons tell you the truth

A Save PDF button for browsers that quietly drop the download, your credentials now attached no matter which Download PDF you use, and a real error message when something goes wrong.
- 2026-08-08Tell Biddy your room sizes on a Custom project — it saves them now
Square footage you dictate to Biddy lands on the room, shows in Project Totals, and prices the job. Plus: a line you delete stays deleted.
- 2026-08-08"24 by 48" now counts as a tile size
Sizes written out in words match your multiplier rows the same as sizes typed with an x — which means some large-format work was being quoted low, and now isn't.
- 2026-08-07Every contest you've ever won is now on the wall

The terms section is now called Terms & Conditions with a real Edit button, and you can copy a second person on the proposal email.

Material receipt totals include sales tax in your job costs — so your actuals match what actually left your bank account.

- 2026-07-26Put your license, your insurance, and your best work on every proposal
Upload your badges, certificates, and photos of past jobs once. They ride along on every proposal, land in the PDF, and show up in your client's portal automatically.
- 2026-07-25Bulk-add your materials library
Paste a price list or upload a CSV and BidCraft sorts it into your materials library — no more typing products in one at a time.
- 2026-07-25Some sign-up links now ask for a card first
Depending on which link you followed to sign up, you may be asked to add a card before your 14-day free trial starts. It's still free for 14 days either way.

- 2026-07-21Guided pricing setup, one-page pricing, and a catalog that fits your trades

- 2026-07-20A friendlier signup and a real look-around

- 2026-07-18A smoother first proposal — set up as you go
New accounts get a quick day-rate question before the first build, a one-time payment-and-terms setup on the first send, and in-place tips that teach each step of a real project.

The chat sheet on your phone now opens at three-quarters of the screen instead of half, and the bar at the top actually resizes it.
- 2026-07-17Smoother path from photos to scope
Room analysis is fixed, notes-only projects can move forward without photos, the quick-gaps step stops repeating itself, and there's a second Lock & build button at the bottom of a long scope.

Every real move you make in BidCraft now earns XP and pushes you up a 9-rank ladder from Apprentice to Guild Master — and your past work already counts.
- 2026-07-17Proposal uploads got a lot smarter
Uploading past proposals now keeps your tiers separate, matches to services you already have instead of duplicating them, combines prices across proposals, and learns how you name your line items — all in a review screen that tells you exactly what it found.
- 2026-07-17Generate any template — and BidCraft learns your style
New accounts now start with a clean Project Templates page and three fast ways to fill it — generate a template in your own style, install proven starters, or import a pack. Plus custom project types, portable template packs, and per-area line naming on proposals.
- 2026-07-14Community calls can now be for groups or invite-only
A community call can be open to everyone, limited to a membership group, or invite-only. Group calls show non-members an “Upgrade to join” link into the program.
- 2026-07-14Community calls can repeat now
Schedule a standing weekly, every-2-weeks, weekday, or monthly call once and the calendar fills in the dates. Cancel a single one or the whole series.
- 2026-07-14Share your wins without leaving the job
When a client signs or you finish a project, BidCraft offers to post it to the community Wins channel. You edit it first, price is optional, and client details are never included.

See upcoming community calls on a month calendar, RSVP, get invited, and — if we've turned it on for you — schedule your own. Some calls are limited to a group or invite-only.
- 2026-07-12Block someone in the Community
You can now block another contractor — you'll stop seeing each other's messages, neither of you can DM the other, and you can undo it anytime.
- 2026-07-12Community chat — fix a typo, tag a pro, and unread counts that actually clear
You can now edit messages after sending them, tag someone with @, react in one tap, and the unread badge finally clears when you've read the room.
- 2026-07-12A smoother start — templates in your style, three clear missions
Signup now asks how you quote and sets up your templates to match, getting started is three focused missions instead of four scattered guides, and the welcome tour is a quick 90-second look around.
- 2026-07-11Your customer portal grew up — tabs, a live schedule, photos, and two-way messages
The client portal is rebuilt into a tabbed hub that changes with the job — proposal to sign, a live work calendar, shared progress photos, payments, and a real message thread — plus video reviews and your own brand color.
- 2026-07-11The Tasks page is now one screen — today under glass, directions to your jobs
One screen instead of five tabs — a date-grouped board with a sticky Today lens, a My Day rail with one-tap directions, and Biddy managing your tasks.
- 2026-07-07Show your clients the total, not every line's price
A new Proposal Settings option lets you hide per-item prices so clients see the scope of work and one grand total — set it org-wide or per proposal, with a client-view preview.
- 2026-07-05Meet AI credits — plus bonus credits you earn for showing up
AI usage now shows in easy-to-read credits instead of giant token numbers, and you earn bonus credits (that roll over) for daily logins, achievements, and streaks.
- 2026-07-04A fuller task panel, and template line pricing you can edit right in the row
Click any task to get description, dependencies, and photos all in one panel. The List view is now a real spreadsheet. And template lines let you edit unit, price, markup, margin, and cost inline.
- 2026-07-04Drag your real schedule, click a task for the details, build in waits for other trades
The project Gantt is now fully interactive — drag bars to reschedule, click one for a side panel, assign a whole trade at once, and mark time you're waiting on someone else.
- 2026-07-04Project templates now carry the timing, not just the line items
A new Schedule tab on every project template — drag the bars once and every signed job of that type gets a real day-by-day plan.
- 2026-07-03Floor plans now create your rooms for you
Upload a whole-house plan, check off the rooms that are in scope, and BidCraft creates each room with the plan's printed dimensions already in Measurements.
- 2026-07-03Your mission board grew up — health meters, better names, do-it-here fixes
Missions now show WHY they matter — a Catalog Health meter, per-deal progress bars, outcome-named tabs — and the library missions let you fix picks right in the popup instead of bouncing between pages.
- 2026-07-03See your cost and margin on every service — plus tiers grouped together
The Services list now shows Cost, Price, and Margin per row, groups Standard/Plus/Premium tiers into one family, and lets you preview numbers at your typical job size.
- 2026-07-03The Showcase Collection — turn every job into marketing material
- 2026-07-03Your Showcase gallery — view, share, and download every photo
- 2026-07-02Biddy walks with you — one conversation, any page
Ask Biddy for a change from anywhere and it takes you to the right page mid-conversation. Plus a new header label showing what Biddy's looking at, a recent-conversations switcher, and tappable suggestions.
- 2026-07-01Biddy edits project templates — and stops dragging you back to old tours
Open Biddy on any project template and rework it by talking — add, remove, merge, split, rename lines, or rebuild the whole thing. Plus, an unfinished tour now waits politely with a "resume?" chip instead of yanking you back to the dashboard.
- 2026-06-28Change orders now invoice through HighLevel automatically
When a homeowner signs a change order, BidCraft creates a HighLevel invoice for the change amount right away — respecting your invoice-on-sign preference and showing the amount in the Payments view.
- 2026-06-25Connect with other contractors in the Community
Send friend requests, manage your connections on the new People page, and message contractors who keep a private profile.
- 2026-06-25Profile photos and member profiles in the community
Add a photo to your community profile and tap any contractor's name to see who they are.
- 2026-06-25Community gets reactions, threads, and photo sharing
React with emoji, reply in threads to keep conversations tidy, and share job-site photos without leaving the community.
- 2026-06-23Know your numbers? Skip the photos
You can now build a proposal without uploading a single photo — pick a project type, type your measurements into a tailored grid, and draft the scope straight from your numbers. Or build the scope by hand from a template.
- 2026-06-23Meet the rest of the guild — Community is here
A shared space for every BidCraft contractor — public channels, direct messages, and a profile you control.
- 2026-06-23Your clients have their own portal now
- 2026-06-23The customer portal now looks like a project plan booklet
- 2026-06-22Upload a floor plan, and rooms that name themselves
There's a new Floor Plan block at the top of Inputs — drop in an image or PDF and BidCraft pulls the printed dimensions right off it. And rooms now name themselves from the AI read, so "Room 1 / Room 2" becomes "Master Bathroom / Kitchen."
- 2026-06-16Pricing fix — no more double-counting overhead, plus a materials markup toggle
- 2026-06-12Smoother onboarding — tour fixes, mission tile launches, pricing interview
- 2026-06-11Missions now follow your active projects
- 2026-06-11The project page is now a tile grid — fitting, right?
Every project opens to a row of ceramic tiles — Client, Inputs, Measurements & Scope, Proposal, and more. Tiles unlock as the job progresses and show status at a glance.
- 2026-06-10Annual billing and a 14-day trial
- 2026-06-10Contacts — every client and every email in one place
- 2026-06-10Set how long the work takes, not just what it costs
- 2026-06-10Onboarding that never loses your place

- 2026-06-03Payments tab is now universal — track checks, cash, and Zelle too
- 2026-06-03Pricing interview, version 2
- 2026-06-03The Advanced pricing interview is now organized as three Stops
- 2026-06-03Notes stay in their room, and rooms don't disappear when emptied
When you tap Add note inside a room's card, the note now lives in that room — not the last one. Deleting the last note from a room no longer deletes the room itself. Rapid-fire Add Room clicks no longer eat earlier rooms.
- 2026-06-03Variants are the new way to bundle service options (Build Recipes goodbye)
- 2026-06-02Spot the gaps in your service catalog
A new audit panel on My Services flags duplicate services, one-offs, and gaps in your project templates so you can clean up in one sitting.
- 2026-06-02Crew now has Today, a stripped project page, and a real timesheet
Major redesign for the crew role — new Today screen, a focused project view, weekly timesheets with supervisor sign-off, and the cost variance card is now private.
- 2026-06-02Measurements card stands out more — and the AI learns more from your photos
Louder Measurements card border + capture meter chip in the header + dashed coral tiles for missing measurements. Per-photo AI details collapsed behind a toggle. Condition score and existing-tile info now reach proposal drafts.
- 2026-06-02Growth is now Office, and Timesheets moved under it
The Growth section in the sidebar has been renamed to Office and the Timesheets approval queue now lives inside it.
- 2026-06-01Fix the fixtures BidCraft found
Edit All on the Project Totals card now has a Fixtures by Room section — rename, delete, or add fixtures before your next proposal draft.
- 2026-06-01Save as Template, way more comprehensive
Pick the project type at save time, snapshot the full build-out (materials and tasks included), and roll back to a previous version if a save didn't pan out.
- 2026-06-01Guided tour rebuilt around Project Templates + real proposals
- 2026-06-01Measurements card — one place, calculator, room-by-room
Project Totals + Edit All + Fixtures collapsed into one card. Each room shows only its relevant dimensions. Calculator on every area row — total or L × W breakdown.
- 2026-05-31Niches in notes count too — and Draft Scope is faster
BidCraft now extracts niche and corner counts from your voice and text notes, and the first Draft Scope click on a notes-only project is near-instant.
- 2026-05-31Three small fixes to the Project Totals card
Per-room rows now show fixture names, shower wall math is fixed, and the two confusing re-analyze buttons got consolidated into one.
- 2026-05-29BidCraft now adapts your Project Template to each project instead of starting from scratch
When you've built out a Project Template for a project type, BidCraft uses it as the starting shape for every scope draft on that type — keeping the lines that still apply, adjusting the ones whose scale changed, dropping the ones that don't fit this specific job. Every line carries a small badge so you can see at a glance how the AI used (or didn't use) your template.
- 2026-05-29Tell the AI when a template line already includes sub-scopes
A common frustration — generating a proposal and seeing a separate "Waterproofing" line item show up even though your Tile Install line already covers it. New "Bundles" tags on every template line let you tell the AI which sub-scopes are intentionally folded in, so it stops splitting your bundled work into its own cost lines.
- 2026-05-29BidCraft now learns from your receipts and prices new proposals from what you actually pay
Every receipt you log feeds a new MATERIAL COST MEMORY layer. Once BidCraft has 3+ samples for a product, the proposal AI prices future jobs using your real per-unit cost instead of catalog list price × your cost multiplier. Quiet, automatic, gets smarter every project.
- 2026-05-29Materials list now tells you when a service couldn't be matched to a real product
When you generate a proposal and a service has materials defined but the catalog can't find a real product for them, you used to just see an empty materials list and have no idea why. Now you get an amber banner naming the services and categories that need attention, plus a placeholder row with a typical price so the proposal cost stays sane while you fix it.
- 2026-05-29Your voice notes now feed the gap card
Tell BidCraft your shower dimensions, ceiling height, or floor sqft in a voice note, and the gap card stops asking for them.
- 2026-05-29One-tap "✨ AI pick" button on every empty material row
Editing a service's materials list and hit a row with no product picked yet? The new ✨ AI pick button next to the product field finds your library favorite for that category (or a sensible fallback) in one tap. No typing, no scrolling.
- 2026-05-29Every Project Template now ships pre-populated — no more starting from scratch
New accounts land with all 15 project-type templates already populated — lines, materials, tasks, sub-scope tags, the whole shape. Existing accounts get empty templates filled in automatically (your edits stay safe). And there's a Reset to Defaults button if you bend a template too far and want to start over.
- 2026-05-29Your tile-size, tile-material, and pattern multipliers now affect proposal prices
The multipliers you set during the pricing interview have been sitting in your settings unused — they're now wired into proposal pricing. Tile-install lines get adjusted automatically based on what the synthesis says about the project's tile size, material, and pattern.
- 2026-05-28Skip the breakdown when you already know the sqft
- 2026-05-28Biddy now walks you through building + completing services
A new conversational wizard inside Biddy creates services from scratch, completes the missing fields on AI-created services, and suggests starter materials + task lists — all without leaving the chat. Launch it from the dashboard mission cards or the "Build with Biddy" button on your services list.
- 2026-05-28Template line cards got a major slim-down — and you can now mark lines Required or Optional
Project template line cards used to be chunky, taking up half the screen per line. Unlinked lines now render as a clean numbered list (click any field to edit inline), and promoted-to-service lines became roughly half their previous height while keeping the full Edit Details expansion. Plus a new Required / Optional toggle on every line so you can flag the must-haves vs the add-ons.
- 2026-05-28Set personal goals and challenges — and earn XP for crushing them
A new /goals page lets you set self-paced weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly targets across six metrics (proposals signed, proposals sent, receipts logged, services + materials added, revenue signed). Hit your target and you earn XP. Hit it consistently and you unlock the Self Driven achievement.
- 2026-05-27Your measurement corrections actually save now
- 2026-05-27Videos now auto-transcribe narration — and you can finally tap a video to play it
Uploaded videos extract their narration automatically in the background and save it as a voice note. Video chips in a room are now clickable — tap to play inline. If transcription fails or returns no audio, there's a Retry button right there.
- 2026-05-25Fill in service details right from the template
- 2026-05-23Build Recipes — your install doctrine, captured once
- 2026-05-23A cleaner signup, and Biddy knows more about your shop from day one
The signup page is now a 4-slide carousel that captures the basics — company size, location, deals per month, what you're hoping to get out of BidCraft, and how you heard about us — so Biddy walks in already up to speed.
- 2026-05-23Project Templates — your shape, saved per project type
- 2026-05-23One concept instead of two — template lines are services now
- 2026-05-21Your logo is bigger on proposals — and you can size it yourself
Logos now show larger at the top of every proposal by default, and you can choose Small, Medium, or Large under Proposal Settings with a live preview.
- 2026-05-20Delete a service for good (not just archive)
Services now have a real Delete option alongside Archive — so you can permanently clear out one-offs and mistakes instead of just hiding them.
- 2026-05-19New team roles — Sales and Crew
Two new roles join Owner and Admin. The sidebar adapts to who's logged in so each person sees only what they actually use.
- 2026-05-19An expanded guided tour with a real sample project
- 2026-05-18Pull lines straight from your services catalog
The + Add line button on the scope review and the + Add Item button on the proposal editor now open a catalog search panel. Type a keyword, see pricing, pick — the line drops in pre-filled. Works on both surfaces, with a blank-line escape hatch when nothing fits.
- 2026-05-18AI proposes specific service-template fixes
- 2026-05-18See where your estimates are drifting
- 2026-05-18Clock in to projects and tasks
- 2026-05-18One place for your company profile — edit in place, no more redirects
The Company Profile page is now inline-editable. Click any field — business name, trade, services, service area — and it saves in place. The old separate profile/onboarding page is gone. Your name now lives on My Profile alongside your signature.
- 2026-05-18Cleaned up the sidebar — fewer menus, clearer groupings, one Connected Apps page
The sidebar now caps at 8 top-level items. Pricing and Proposal Settings live under Catalog. Profile, Company, and Team live under Growth. Integrations and Payments merged into Connected Apps with tile cards. Proposal Style was renamed to Proposal Settings. SOPs absorbed into the Tasks page. Usage absorbed into the Billing page.
- 2026-05-17Crew daily view + photos on tasks
- 2026-05-17BidCraft asks before it drafts — and analysis finishes faster
New inline question cards before Draft Scope, a Measurement Card per room with category-specific dimensions, a Retry button on failed analyses, and Project Totals tucked inside Step 1 as a dropdown.
- 2026-05-17Schedule your projects + assign crew
- 2026-05-16Tasks fire automatically when you sign a proposal
Every service can now carry an execution-task checklist that auto-generates on the project the moment your client signs.
- 2026-05-14Project Totals appear when analysis is ready (and the wait got more fun)
Cleaner project page flow — Project Totals and Scope Review now wait for analysis to finish before appearing, then unfold automatically. Analyze status got rotating playful copy.
- 2026-05-14Change orders are here — amend a signed proposal without starting over
After a homeowner signs your proposal, you can now send change orders for additional scope, modifications, or removals — and they're billed correctly against the original.
- 2026-05-14HighLevel contacts now sync from every proposal — phone-only included
New clients land in your HighLevel pipeline whether you route proposal emails through BidCraft or through your GHL workflows. Phone-only contacts now work end to end so your SMS workflow branches can fire.
- 2026-05-12Save your signature once, stamp it on every proposal
Set up your signature one time — upload, type, or draw — and BidCraft auto-applies it to every proposal you send afterward.
- 2026-05-11Biddy stays sharp in long conversations
Long Biddy chats no longer drift — older context is now summarized so your day rate, rules, and decisions stick.
- 2026-05-09Biddy remembers your pricing rules
Tell Biddy a rule once ("I never charge less than $1,200 for small bath demo") and it applies on every future proposal.
- 2026-05-08Biddy lives on every proposal page
The floating Biddy assistant now opens on proposal pages with full project context — ask questions, request changes, get answers fast.
- 2026-04-15Take deposits and milestone payments through Stripe
Signed proposals can now auto-fire a deposit invoice. Clients pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or ACH — and you're the merchant of record.
- 2026-04-10Pricing setup, redesigned
The AI pricing interview is now a two-phase flow — finish Essentials in 6–7 minutes and ship your first real proposal.
- 2026-04-05Track receipts, see predicted vs actual costs
Photograph receipts, voice-note expenses, or type quick memos — BidCraft logs them all and shows variance against your proposal.
- 2026-03-28Materials now live with each service
We dropped the separate "Material Recipes" section. Services now own their materials directly — open a service, see and edit its materials right there.
- 2026-03-20Step-based project flow
Project pages now move through three clear steps — Inputs & Analysis, Scope of Work, Proposal — with a rooms-first capture layout.
