A calmer Scope & pricing page, part 2
The scope list used to put every control for every line on the page at once. Now each line reads at a glance, and the editing happens in one place.
What changes
- Clean rows. Each line shows its name, two lines of its description, the price with its math ($40/sqft × 186 sqft) and the crew days.
- Three quick checks on every line. The service it matched, how many materials it has (or a dashed + Materials when it has none), and an amber need you count when something on the line affects the price. Colors and finishes show as a grey for later, since those can wait until after the client signs.
- Grouped by room. On a job with more than one room, lines sit under their room with a subtotal, and whole-job work comes last. Your proposal keeps its own order.
- One panel per line. Tap a line and its panel opens: on the right on a computer, from the bottom on a phone. It has the name and full description, what still needs you, the price and crew days, the service and what the line covers, and the materials. Tap a check on the row and the panel opens right at that part.
- Walk the whole scope. Use the arrows at the top of the panel to go to the next line without closing it. The arrows at the bottom move a line within its room, and Remove line is there too.
More is coming: an easier price editor, a simpler materials list, and a summary bar that tells you when the scope is ready to lock.
