A calmer Scope & pricing page, part 5
The last piece of the Scope & pricing cleanup brings the page in line with the design it was drawn from.
What changes
- A summary bar at the top. Under the three stages, a bar stays with you as you scroll: the draft total, how many lines are priced (with the rough margin), how many have materials, and Lock & build.
- "N need you." An amber chip in that bar counts what still affects the price: a line with no price, a service match to check, two lines covering the same surface, a size to confirm. Tap it for a checklist, and each item takes you straight to the line that needs it. Color and finish picks aren't counted, since they can wait until after the client signs. When nothing needs you, it turns green: Ready to lock ✓.
- Icons instead of words. Each line shows three small icons: the service match, the materials (with a count), and a flag when something needs you. Tap one and the line opens right at that part.
- Rooms on their own cards. Each room gets a card with its name as a heading and its subtotal, and + Add a line adds straight into that room.
- The line you're working on stays beside the list on a computer, and is tinted with a dark edge in the list so you can see where you are. On a phone it slides up from the bottom as before.
- A tidier panel. Price, Service and Materials each have a small header. The price reads as the math, [$60 / sqft] × [62 sqft] $3,720, and a material opens in place with its quantity, cost and color choice, then Save.
- Lock & build asks first. If something still needs you when you lock, BidCraft lists it. Review them opens the checklist, or Lock anyway goes ahead.
