A simpler menu
The sidebar had 13 items and some of them barely got used. It's down to 9: Dashboard, Projects, Tasks, Timesheets, Contacts, Community, Catalog, Settings and Help. Every page is still there. Here's where things moved.
Calendar and Showcase are tabs on Projects
Open Projects and you'll see three tabs at the top: Projects, Calendar and Showcase. Projects stays lit in the menu on all three.
One Timesheets item
Timesheets shows your week. If you have crew, an Approvals tab sits next to My week with the weeks waiting on you, and a small purple count shows on the menu when something's waiting. A one-person shop just sees its own week.
Settings replaces Office
Settings has two parts:
- How you bid: Pricing Strategy and Proposal Settings. These used to live under Catalog.
- Your business: Company Profile, Client Portal, Connected Apps and Billing. Team lives on Time & Team.
Click Settings and it opens your Pricing Strategy. Catalog is now just templates, services, materials, inventory and the product search.
Your profile is under your name
Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open My Profile. On your phone it's under More → You.
Community moved up
Community is higher in the menu, and on your phone it's now one of the bottom tabs: Home, Projects, Tasks, Community, More. Catalog moved into the More sheet. If Community isn't turned on for your shop yet, that tab stays Catalog.
The Messages page is gone
Hardly anyone used it. Emailing a client still happens from the project's Client section, same as before.
