Biddy lives on every proposal page
The floating Biddy pill in the bottom-right corner used to be useful mostly for onboarding and dashboard questions. On proposal pages, you had a separate "AI Assistant" panel that did similar things but lived in its own world.
That split is gone. Biddy is now the assistant on every page, including proposals — with full context about the proposal you're looking at.
What changed
Open a project's proposal page and tap the Biddy pill. The drawer opens with full awareness of:
- The proposal itself — every line item, scope of work, totals, warnings
- The project synthesis — the dimensions and conditions the AI extracted from your photos
- Your services catalog — what work you sell and at what prices
- Your pricing strategy — day rate, multipliers, rules
This means you can ask questions like:
- "Why was the demo line $400?"
- "Add a 15% rush charge to this proposal"
- "Why is there no waterproofing line — should there be one?"
- "Bundle the two install lines into a single line called 'Tile installation (floor + walls)'"
For questions, Biddy answers in plain English. For changes, Biddy shows a confirmation card with what it's about to do — you hit Confirm to apply or Reject to leave the proposal untouched.
A nudge on first visit
When you open a project that has a generated proposal for the first time, you'll see a small terracotta dot on the Biddy pill. That's just a one-time hint that Biddy is now active on this page. Tap it once and the dot goes away for good.
What the old AI Assistant did
Everything the old AI Assistant could do, Biddy now does. Edit a line, add a line, remove a line, split a line, bundle two lines, edit the scope of work, regenerate the whole proposal with your notes — all of it lives in the same Biddy drawer now. One assistant, one place to look.
The right-rail panel is gone — if you were used to having it open all the time, just open the Biddy drawer and dock it. Mobile gets the same flow as a slide-up sheet.
