Run Future Vision on your own AI account
Future Vision comes with a monthly allowance of renders, and for most months that's plenty. But if you're deep in busy season, or you've got a client who wants to see the shower four different ways before they'll sign, that counter starts feeling tight.
Now you can bring your own key.
How it works
Head to Connected Apps → Your AI Keys, paste in a key from your own OpenAI or Google AI account, and hit Save & verify. We check it against the provider on the spot — green Active pill means your next render is already running on your account.
From then on the counter at the top of the Future Vision section stops counting down and just says Running on your own API key. Render away.
The fine print, in plain English
- You get billed by the provider, not by us. Renders are cheap, but they're not free, and that's your bill now.
- There's still a 500-a-month ceiling. Not a limit — a seatbelt. If something ever went haywire and started looping, it'd be your card getting hit. Five hundred is way more than a real month of work.
- Changed your mind? Hit Remove and you're straight back on our key with your normal allowance. No gap, nothing to switch back on.
When a key goes bad
You'll get one of two messages, and they're different problems:
- "Your key was declined" — the key stopped working, usually because it got deleted or rotated on the provider's side. Make a new one and paste it in.
- "Your key is out of credit" — nothing wrong with the key at all, the account behind it just needs topping up.
Either way, renders never silently fail over to something you didn't ask for. And if you haven't saved a key, or the one you saved hasn't been verified yet, you're on our key with your normal allowance — exactly like before.
Owners and admins only — these are billable credentials for the whole company, so sales and crew don't see the tile.
