Update, September 2026: the audit's Duplicates section moved into the one duplicate finder in the Services health line (see One duplicate finder in the latest what's new), and the Missing from templates section was retired. The audit now checks for unused services only.
Spot the gaps in your service catalog
Catalogs that grow from real jobs accumulate clutter — two services that mean the same thing under different names, scope you saved once and never used again, or services missing from the project templates that should reference them. There's now a Catalog Audit Panel at the top of My Services that flags all three and helps you fix them in a few clicks.
What the panel shows
Three groups, only the ones that have something to act on:
- Duplicates — services BidCraft thinks are the same work under different names. Each group has a Keep radio. Pick the one you want, click Archive others, done.
- One-offs — services you've used on exactly one project. Sometimes legitimate, often scope that should have been bundled. Per-row Archive button.
- Missing from templates — services in active use that aren't wired into any project template. Each row links straight to the template editor so you can add the line where it belongs.
When the catalog is clean, the panel collapses to a sage "Catalog is clean" status pill.
Where you'll see it
The panel lives at the top of Catalog → Services (/my-services). If Biddy spots one of these issues, the dashboard's improvement list will link straight to the relevant section — "3 duplicate services to consolidate" opens My Services with the duplicates section auto-expanded and scrolled into view.
Why it matters
A leaner catalog produces better proposals. The AI has to choose between fewer candidates, so its matches are more confident — and the Save as Service offer on signed proposals stops re-creating near-duplicates. Working through the audit panel for ten minutes once a month is the cheapest improvement you can make to BidCraft's pricing accuracy.
