Pick which pages of a proposal print
A contractor asked for two things last week: a way to print a proposal without the six pages of terms, and pages that don't slice a line item down the middle. Both are in.
A checklist before anything prints
Download PDF and the new Print — both in the proposal's ··· menu — now open a short checklist first. It lists every section the proposal has: scope, pricing, payment schedule, terms & conditions, credentials, photos, the agreement, attached documents, the signature lines. Untick what you don't want in this copy and go.
Your header and the client's details always print. Everything else is your call.
Untick the terms once and they stay unticked next time on that device. Include everything puts it all back.
Files follow their section
In the PDF, your insurance certificate and warranty ride along as extra pages. Leave Credentials & insurance or Attached documents unticked and those pages stay out as well — no stray certificate at the back of a two-page estimate.
Pages break between things, not through them
A line item, a photo, or the signature block now lands whole on one page. Terms, the agreement and the photo pages each start on a fresh sheet when you print.
Print gives you real text
Print uses your browser's own print dialog, so the text on the page is real text — and choosing Save as PDF there gives you a PDF you can search and copy from, named after the client. Download PDF still works the way it did, picture-of-the-page and all, for when you just want a file to send.
