Your customer portal grew up — tabs, a live schedule, photos, and two-way messages

The client portal is rebuilt into a tabbed hub that changes with the job — proposal to sign, a live work calendar, shared progress photos, payments, and a real message thread — plus video reviews and your own brand color.

The customer portal just got a serious upgrade

Remember the old customer portal — one long scroll your client had to thumb through to find anything? Gone. We rebuilt it into a clean, tabbed hub that actually reads the room: before your client signs, it sells; while you're building, it keeps them looped in; when you finish, it asks for a review. Same link the whole time — it just knows where the job stands.

Here's what your clients get now:

  • Tabs instead of endless scroll. Home, Schedule, Photos, Payments, Messages, Documents — and tabs only show up when there's something in them, so it never looks empty.
  • A live schedule. Once a job is booked, your client sees a calendar of the days you'll be on site — and an "on site now" badge lights up while your crew is actually clocked in on their house. (Rather keep that private? There's a toggle to hide it.)
  • Progress photos — but only the ones you pick. Nothing's visible to a client until you tap Share with client on a photo (or Share all on a task). The good shots become a running highlight reel; the "before we cleaned up" ones stay in-house where they belong.
  • Two-way messages. Your client can message you from their portal, and you reply from the project or your new Messages inbox. Both sides get an email nudge — and we only send the first unread nudge so nobody's inbox gets buried. Finally, the "what's the status?" text chain has a home.
  • Video reviews + a one-tap Google review. When a job wraps, the portal asks your happy client for a review — a button straight to your Google page, or a quick video they record right in their browser. Video reviews land in your settings for you to watch and approve.

And a couple of things for you:

  • Your brand color. Pick an accent color in Settings → Client Portal and it flows through the whole portal — buttons, links, highlights. Match your brand or leave it terracotta.
  • Your proposal and pay pages match. The pages where clients read, sign, and pay now wear the same warm look and your accent color. (Nothing about signing or paying changed — just the paint.)

Set it all up under Settings → Client Portal: your headshot and story, brand color, review links, trust badges, what clients can see, and a Preview a client's portal button so you can see exactly what they'll see before you send the link.

Nothing you have to do to turn it on — every proposal, change-order, and invoice email already links your client to their portal. Take a peek with the preview button and see how it looks.
