Delete a service for good (not just archive)

Services now have a real Delete option alongside Archive — so you can permanently clear out one-offs and mistakes instead of just hiding them.

Delete a service for good (not just archive)

Until now, the only way to get a service off your active list was to Archive it — which hides it from proposal matching but keeps it around. Great for work you might bring back, but clunky when you just want a junk entry gone.

Now there's a real Delete right next to Archive.

Where to find it

  • Services list — each service row now shows Archive and Delete side by side.
  • Service detail page — a Delete service button sits at the top, next to the service name.

Both ask you to confirm before anything happens.

Archive vs Delete — which one?

  • Archive when you might offer the work again, or when old proposals still reference it. It's reversible — restore it any time from the Archived filter.
  • Delete when it's a duplicate, a typo, or work you'll never sell again. It's permanent and can't be undone.

One thing worth knowing: if a service was synced to GoHighLevel, deleting it in BidCraft leaves the GHL product untouched — it just removes the link.

When in doubt, archive. You can always delete an archived service later.
