GIFs that move, and a heads-up when someone answers your post
Two things people asked for in the community, both small on the surface and both about the same thing: knowing what happened and seeing it properly.
GIFs animate now
Attach an animated GIF to a channel post, a DM or a thread reply and it plays. It used to arrive as a single frozen frame — the upload worked, the picture just never moved. Animated WebP works the same way. Oversized ones are scaled down like photos are, without losing the animation.
The bell knows about your posts
Open the bell in the corner and the Activity tab now lists it when someone replies to or reacts to one of your community posts, alongside your signatures, payments and job photos. Tap the row and it opens that post with the thread panel already up. The dot on the bell lights up on its own — you don't have to open it to find out.
Only your own posts count. A reply to somebody else's thread, or a reaction on a message you didn't write, stays out of your bell.
Your phone can buzz, if you want it to
In Office → My Profile → Notifications there are two community toggles, both off until you turn them on:
- Community replies, reactions & DMs — a push when someone replies to or reacts to your post, or sends you a direct message. Tapping it opens the post.
- Every new community post — a push for each new post in any channel. Useful if you want to keep up in real time; busy on a good day.
