Guided pricing setup, one-page pricing, and a catalog that fits your trades

Setting your pricing is now a guided walkthrough on one clean page — Biddy points at each section while you fill in your real numbers. Plus a proposal-settings walkthrough, a pricing-first mission order, and a template gallery that shows only the project types you actually do.

Guided pricing setup, one-page pricing, and a catalog that fits your trades

A big round of onboarding polish from real contractor testing — less typing into chat, more filling in the actual page.

Your Pricing Strategy page is one clean page now

No more flipping between "Sales Pricing" and "Cost Analysis" tabs. Everything lives top to bottom on one page:

  • Labor — one all-in day rate, or set different rates per crew role (Lead, Journeyman, Helper) if that's how you price
  • Markups & buffers — overhead and profit as targets Biddy watches (never stacked on top of your prices), your waste %, and a new toggle: do you include tile cost, or does the client buy the tile?
  • Difficulty multipliers — tile size, material, and pattern tables
  • Pricing rules — your plain-English notes, plus the ones Biddy captures from your conversations

Setting your pricing is now a guided walkthrough

Instead of a back-and-forth chat, Biddy walks you through pricing right on the page. It explains the plan once, then points a little bubble at each section while you type your real numbers into the actual fields. Start it from the Set your pricing mission or the purple Pricing tuned ring on the Pricing Strategy page. About 5 minutes, no double-greeting, and your numbers land where they belong.

A matching walkthrough for your proposal settings

Your proposal settings — payment schedule and formatting — get the same treatment. Biddy points at each section while you dial in how your bids look and how you get paid. It shows up as its own mission once your pricing's set, and it never blocks anything else.

Missions in the right order

Your getting-started missions now run pricing → catalog → first project, with "Start here" on pricing — because every proposal you build leans on your pricing being dialed in first.

When you open Project Templates, the grid now shows only the project types that match the trades you picked at signup — not a wall of everything. Hit Add more project types anytime to see the full set. And "Initialize from BidCraft's typical scope" now respects your quoting style: if you quote Simple, you get the tidy 3-5-line version; if you quote Detailed, you get the full breakdown.
