Show your clients the total, not every line's price

A new Proposal Settings option lets you hide per-item prices so clients see the scope of work and one grand total — set it org-wide or per proposal, with a client-view preview.

Show the total, hide the line-by-line math

Some jobs you'd rather not price out line by line for the homeowner — it invites nickel-and-dime negotiation and shows more of your margin than you want. Now you can turn it off.

What's new:

  • New setting. Go to Catalog → Proposal Settings and turn off Show per-item prices to clients. Your client still sees every line item and the work involved — the per-item quantities and prices just drop away, and only the grand Total Estimate shows a price.
  • You keep the full breakdown. This only changes what the client sees. Your own proposal view and the Cost Analysis tab always show every number.
  • Per-proposal override. Want it for just one job (or want to re-show prices on one where your default is off)? Open the proposal, tap the ··· menu in the toolbar, and pick Hide per-item prices from client. A checkmark shows when it's on, and a banner above the proposal reminds you.
  • Preview client view. The same ··· menu has Preview client view — one tap flips your screen to exactly what the homeowner will see, so there are no surprises before you send. The downloaded PDF matches too.

Like the logo size, your choice is locked into each proposal the moment you send it, so what the client sees never changes after the fact. The default stays on (prices shown), so nothing changes unless you decide to hide them.
