Every bid you send now teaches BidCraft your real prices
"The more you bid, the better it learns how you price" is now true for every bid, not just the ones you upload or save.
What happens when you send
For each catalog service on the proposal, BidCraft notes the price you actually sent. It's one price per job per service:
- Resend at a new price and that job's price is updated instead of counted twice.
- When the client signs, the price is marked as signed and set to what they signed, with the options they picked. An add-on they turned down or a package they didn't choose doesn't count.
- Square-foot and linear-foot work is noted at your rate before tile difficulty, so a harder tile never inflates your going rate.
- A discount is noted as the price before the discount, with a note that the job had one.
Jobs you priced by the day, lines priced as days × your day rate, permits and fees at cost, your minimum charge, the sample project and change orders are never noted. Nothing is learned while you're still drafting, only when you send and when the client signs.
What changes in your catalog
- Range prices follow what you send. A service priced as a range uses these prices right away.
- Fixed prices never change without you. Your sent prices are kept next to the price you saved, so Biddy can tell you when the two drift apart.
