Click any line to set its price, six ways
Open a job type on Settings → Pricing templates and every line now shows, side by side: how it's priced, the price, what it costs you, your margin, and how many materials and tasks it carries.
One panel for a line
Click a line and a panel opens with its name and what the homeowner reads at the top, then three tabs: Pricing, Materials and Tasks. Nothing saves until you hit Save line.
Pick how the line is priced, then type one number:
- Per sq ft or Per lin ft: a rate times what you measure.
- Each: a price per item, times the count on the job.
- Flat for job: one price for the line.
- By the day: crew days times your day rate, with the math shown.
- At cost: what the materials cost you, no markup.
The price you set is the price bids use
Set a price on a line and save it, and BidCraft adds the line to your catalog for you. There's no "Promote" step any more. Your next bid prices that line from it: $16 a sq ft on a 90 sq ft shower wall is $1,440.
If the same price is on another template, the panel tells you which ones and asks before you change it.
Also on your services list
On Catalog → Services, clicking a service opens the same panel.
