Personal goals + challenges — set your own pace
You've been able to see leaderboards and earn XP for everyday actions for a while now. The new piece: you set your own targets, and the system rewards you for hitting them.
Set a goal in 30 seconds
Open Goals from the sidebar (or look for the Set a personal goal tile on the dashboard). You get six metrics to pick from:
- Proposals signed
- Proposals sent
- Receipts logged
- Services added to your catalog
- Materials added to your library
- Revenue signed
For each one, pick the cadence — weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly — and your target number. Biddy starts you off with a suggestion based on your last 30 days of activity, so the bar isn't arbitrary. Hit "Save goal" and you're tracked.
How it works
Every action you take that matches an active goal counts toward the target. Progress shows up live on the goal card, on your dashboard, and on the /guild page. When you hit your target for the period:
- You earn bonus XP (the bigger the goal, the bigger the reward)
- Your consecutive completions counter ticks up
- The period rolls over to the next one (Monday morning for weekly, the 1st for monthly, etc.)
If you don't hit it, you still earn participation XP for the effort. The goal just rolls over and resets — no punishment for missing.
The Self Driven achievement
Hit any personal goal four weeks in a row and you unlock the bronze Self Driven tier. Twelve weeks → silver. Twenty-six → gold. Fifty-two → platinum. Mixing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals all count toward the streak.
Adjusting on the fly
Life happens. The goal card has inline edit (change the target without losing your streak history), pause (skip a period without breaking the streak), and archive (retire a goal that no longer fits). Every change preserves your past completions in the history so you can see how you've trended over time.
Goals also show your personal best — the most you've ever hit in a single period. Crushing that PB triggers a small celebration in chat.
Why we added this
External leaderboards are great for competition between contractors. Internal goals are how you compete with yourself. Sometimes the biggest motivator isn't "beat the next person" — it's "do one more deal this week than last week." That second one is what this is for.
