Press Analyze and walk away

Re-analyze documents keeps going after you close the page, and a file or pass that stops partway is sorted out without you watching.

Press Analyze and walk away

Reading a builder's package takes a while, and the Plans card has always said you can leave while it works. Now that is true for every step after the upload.

Re-analyze documents keeps going without you

Pressing Re-analyze documents now hands the whole job to BidCraft in one go. Before, closing the page too soon could leave some of the files never read again — and with Start over ticked, your earlier answers already cleared. Now, once you've pressed it, every file is read again whether the page is open or not.

A file that stops partway no longer waits for you

Now and again a big set stops mid-read. BidCraft used to notice only when you had the project open. It now checks on its own every few minutes: the stopped file is marked with Read again, and the rest of the package is matched and measured without it, so you come back to rooms rather than a spinner.

One more go before it gives up

If the matching or the measuring step stops partway, BidCraft now gives it one more try by itself. Only if that stops too does the card ask you to press Read again.

The one step that needs the page

The upload itself still goes from your phone or computer, so stay on the page until your files show in the tray — your browser now asks before it lets you close the tab mid-upload.
