The project page got its head back

The big tile grid is now a compact chip strip, the header carries everything you'd do to a job, and you can mark a project signed yourself when the client signed on paper.

Less nav, more job

Every project used to open with a wall of square tiles. On a phone that was four rows of navigation before you saw a single thing about the job. They're chips now โ€” one small row or two, subtitle underneath telling you what's inside.

Same sections, same order, same rules about what's available when. Just a fraction of the height.

The strip reads like the job runs

Left to right: where the job came from, the work, the sale, the money, the client.

  • ๐Ÿ“ฅ Inputs โ€” photos ยท notes ยท plans
  • ๐Ÿ“ Measure ยท ๐Ÿ—“ Schedule ยท ๐Ÿงพ Receipts โ€” the work
  • ๐Ÿ“„ Proposal โ€” client doc ยท change orders
  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ Costs ยท ๐Ÿ’ณ Payments โ€” the money
  • โœ‰๏ธ Messages ยท โ‹ฏ More โ€” client info, showcase, and any missions on this job

Those little subtitles are doing real work. "Where did the materials list go?" It's under Costs โ€” the subtitle says so.

Chips also dim and brighten as the job moves. Building the bid? The money sits back. Proposal out? Proposal and Costs come forward, Inputs fades. Signed? The working chips lead. Nothing is ever hidden or switched off โ€” a dim chip is still one tap. And anything that needs you lights right back up with a small amber dot.

Open a signed job and you land on Schedule now, not the paperwork.

One header for the whole job

The name, the status, your client on a single line โ€” tap the address for directions, tap the number to call, tap edit to fix a typo. On the right: Clock in, Client Portal, and a ยทยทยท menu with everything else.

Clock in is new here for everyone. It used to be a crew thing; now anybody can put hours against a job from the project page the moment it's under contract. If you're a one-man shop, you clock in exactly like a crew does.

Signed on paper? Say so

They signed the copy on your tailgate. Or shook on it and you already ordered material. Meanwhile BidCraft still says "Proposal Sent" while you're demoing the bathroom.

Tap the status pill and choose Mark as signed. The job becomes real: your task list starts building, the working chips come forward, the clock unlocks.

Your client never hears about it. No invoice, no email, no link changes โ€” as far as they're concerned it already happened, and we don't tell them twice. If you want to bill the job, go to Payments and send the invoices yourself.

Mark completed lives in the same menu once the work is done. The pill only ever moves a job forward โ€” and paid and refunded stay with whatever actually happened to the money.

Crew on this job

The Schedule section now opens with a row of crew slots โ€” a card per person with a ๏ผ‹ at the end. Fill the slots before the job starts and everybody in them shows up first in every assignee picker.

Nothing to turn on. Open any project and it's there.
