Your Projects page, sorted by where the money is
If you've been in BidCraft a while, your Projects page had turned into one long wall of cards. Jobs you won two years ago sitting next to the bid you need to send this afternoon. Fixed.
Projects now opens as a pipeline. Your jobs are stacked into the stages of a sale — Building the Bid, Proposal Ready, Waiting on Client, Won, Completed — and each stage header tells you how many jobs are in it and what it's worth. Waiting on Client with a number next to it is the most useful line on the page: that's what's out there right now, unanswered.
Tap any stage header to collapse it. Completed starts collapsed, because you don't need to scroll past last year's work to find today's. Empty stages don't show at all.
Rather see it laid out differently? There's a Pipeline / Board / Grid toggle up top, and BidCraft remembers which one you picked. Board lays the same stages out side by side, kanban-style — scroll sideways through the funnel. Grid is the old flat wall of cards.
Park the jobs you're not chasing
Every contractor has bids that died and jobs the homeowner wants to start "sometime next spring." Those don't belong in your pipeline, but you don't want to delete them either — the photos and measurements are worth keeping.
Now you can shelve them. Open the ··· menu on any project card (or the Actions menu on the project itself) and pick:
- Move to Not Ready — real job, wrong timing
- Mark as Lost — didn't get it
Shelved jobs step out of your active views and off your dashboard numbers, so your open-deal count finally reflects live work only. Nothing gets deleted. Three chips above your projects — Active, Not Ready, Lost — let you flip between them, with a count on each shelf.
When a "next spring" job turns into a real one, hit Back to Active and it drops right back into the stage it was in before. A lost proposal that was already sent returns to Waiting on Client, not back to square one.
And a search box
Type a client's last name in the search box at the top and you'll see their jobs and nothing else. Works in either view, on any chip.
