A heads-up when a proposal expires or an invoice is late
Proposals now expire and invoices now have due dates. The next step is noticing when one of those dates goes by — so you don't have to.
What changes
Every morning BidCraft checks your sent proposals and invoices.
- A proposal link expired without a signature? You get a notification, and My Day gets a follow-up: Proposal expired — extend it or send a new one.
- An invoice went past its due date? Same thing: a notification and an Invoice overdue follow-up.
You hear about each date once. Nothing to set up; it's on for everyone.
Want your client reminded too?
That's up to you, and it's off until you turn it on. In Catalog → Proposal Settings:
- In the Expiration & reminders card, tick Email my client a reminder 3 days before it expires.
- In the Invoices & receipts card, under Invoice due date, tick Email my client when an invoice is overdue. Your client gets a friendly reminder the day after the due date and one more a week later, then it stops.
Both come from your business name, and replies come to you. They never go out for a signed proposal or a paid invoice.
Too many buzzes?
Go to Office → My Profile → Notifications and switch off Expired proposals & overdue invoices. The follow-ups on My Day stay.
