Resend now sends the version you're actually looking at

Edit an unsigned proposal, hit Resend, and your client's existing link updates to match — and the email total matches the page.

Resend now sends the version you're actually looking at

Here's a bug worth owning up to.

You send a proposal for $5,000. Over the next couple of hours you rework it — add a line, bump the price, get it to $7,400. Then you hit Resend Proposal, because that's the obvious button.

The email said $7,400. The link opened the $5,000 version. Three times in a row.

That's fixed. Resend now refreshes the link with your current proposal before it sends. Same URL, same tracking row, same view history — new content. Whatever you're looking at on your screen is what lands on theirs.

The number in the email body is now read straight off the document the link opens, not off your working copy. If those two ever disagreed before, they can't now. Same goes for the total that gets pushed into HighLevel, for those of you running proposals through your CRM.

Signed proposals are still frozen solid

If your client already signed, nothing changed and nothing ever will. Resend still mails them a copy of the signed version, exactly as they signed it, even if you've edited the proposal since. A signature is a record — it doesn't get quietly rewritten.

To change a deal after a signature, that's still a change order.

That button used to be the only way to get your edits in front of a client before signing. Now Resend handles it. Save New Shareable Link for when you actually want a second link tracked on its own row — you revoked the first one, or it went to the wrong email address and you want a clean row for the right one.

Otherwise: edit, Resend, done.
