The schedule's tile is on your materials list
When a builder or designer sends a tile schedule, it names the tile for every surface. Until now that tile showed on the room card and nowhere else, so your materials list had the thinset and the grout but not the tile itself.
What you'll see
Each surface the schedule tiles now gets a row on your materials list, marked Schedule, on the line that installs it. It carries the tile's name, plus the colour, size and grout wherever the sheet prints them.
- When the client supplies the tile, the row is marked Client-supplied and costs you nothing. The bid shows what's going in without charging for it, and your margin doesn't move.
- When you supply it, the row carries your catalog price if the tile's item number is in your catalog. If it isn't, it says Price this: type your cost once and it stays put when the materials rebuild.
Nothing counted twice
If a line already has that tile, or a field tile you added yourself, the schedule leaves it alone. If BidCraft had guessed a generic tile for a line the schedule names, the schedule's tile replaces the guess. Rebuilding the materials updates these rows instead of adding more.
Who supplies the tile is set on Pricing Strategy, and you can change it for a single job on the project.
