Your whole crew's day, on one screen
The Tasks page used to make you pick a tab — By project, My day, All tasks — before you could see anything. That's gone. Now it's one screen built around the question you actually have: what's happening today, and where?
What's new (owner and admin view):
- Today under glass. A light-outlined Today box sits pinned at the top of the board. Scroll and the rest of your schedule slides underneath it — Today never leaves the screen. Overdue work shows in a red strip right inside it, so the stuff that's slipping is the first thing you see.
- Grouped by date, or by date + project. The board lists every task across every signed job, newest days first, with unscheduled and finished work tucked below. Flip one toggle to subgroup each day by project — then collapse a job to hide its tasks under every date at once.
- A My Day rail. Down the right side: today's totals (tasks, hours, projects, overdue), your clock-in, and Today's Stops — every job with work today, each with a Directions ↗ button that opens Google Maps with the address already filled in. Tap it from your truck and go.
- Tap a task without losing your place. Task details open in a side panel now, not a full-screen popup. The board stays put and clickable — tap straight to the next task and the panel just switches over. No more greyed-out background.
- Biddy runs your task list. Open Biddy on the Tasks page and ask away: "what's overdue?", "who's got the most open work?", "assign the grout task to Mike", "move the demo to Monday." Biddy reads the list, finds the right person and project, and shows you a confirmation card before anything changes — and when it reschedules something, it tells you how many downstream tasks shifted.
SOPs and Insights moved to two pills in the header — tap either to swap views, tap again to come back. The links /tasks#sops and /tasks#insights still work.
Crew and sales keep their focused daily view — nothing changed there. This is about giving owners and managers one place to run the whole crew's day.
