Tell Biddy about the job before it reads it
You know things about a package that aren't printed anywhere on it. The pool bath is out. Ceilings are 10 ft. The finish codes everyone's hunting for are over on sheet A11. It's the stuff you'd say out loud while handing the set to a helper — and up to now there was nowhere sensible to say it.
There was a box for it, technically. It was buried under View sheets, which meant the one moment you actually knew what to say — the moment you dropped the files in — was the one moment nobody asked you.
Now it's in the upload box. You drop your files, and Anything Biddy should know? is sitting right there under them, above the button that starts the read.
And it does considerably more than it used to. It used to steer one thing: which rooms got picked. Now it goes to everyone doing the reading — the one measuring rooms off the plans, the one transcribing your tile schedule, the one reading the wall heights off your elevations. Say "ceilings are 10 ft" and the reader knows it while it's looking at the drawing, instead of guessing and asking you afterwards.
It also turns up in the quick checks it answers. Say "the pool bath is the one off the lanai", and when Biddy asks which of two rooms your schedule means, your own words are sitting right there under the question.
One thing it will never do: put a number on a surface your documents didn't print. It helps Biddy read what's actually there — it doesn't invent anything that isn't.
Forgot to write it? It's still under View sheets, same box. Fill it in, hit Read again, and the whole package gets re-read with it.
