Guided tour rebuilt around Project Templates + real proposals
The guided tour got a substantial rework to match how the app actually flows today.
Catalog leg starts with Project Templates. Project Templates is the top of the catalog hierarchy — the framework the AI pulls from when it builds a proposal. The tour now opens the Shower Remodel template and walks the full hierarchy in one place: template → lines → materials + tasks per line. After that, the individual Services, Materials, and Find Products pages register as per-type detail views of the same data, so we don't deep-dive each one anymore.
No more sample project. Instead of poking at a seeded "Maple St." demo, the tour walks you through building your first real proposal end-to-end:
- Tap + New Project, fill in a name and client.
- Drop one input — a 15-second voice note is the fastest path. Biddy gives you a sample script if you'd rather use placeholder content.
- Tap Draft Scope of Work, review the draft, then Lock & Build.
- Biddy waits while materials, tasks, and pricing generate (about 30–60 seconds), then walks you through the finished proposal.
Cost Analysis now has source-tag chips on every line — FROM TEMPLATE means I sourced from your catalog (trustworthy), FROM AI means I had to fill in a guess (double-check before bidding). Same chip pattern on the Tasks tab.
Tasks tab is live the moment a proposal is built. Tasks used to fire only after sign — now they generate alongside materials and cost analysis, so you can see the full crew checklist before you send the proposal out.
If you want to see the new tour, tap the replay arrow in the Biddy chat header.
