Your credentials, doing some of the selling
Homeowners aren't only comparing your number to the other guy's number. They're deciding whether to hand you a key. Now the proposal answers that too.
What's new:
- One asset library. In Catalog → Proposal Settings, upload your trust badges, insurance certificate, contractor license, warranty — and photos of work you're proud of. Images or PDFs. Do it once.
- Every proposal carries it. Badges as a strip near your name, a Credentials & Insurance section after your terms, Our Work photos after the job photos, and an Attached Documents list above the signature. Turn any of it off if it's not your style.
- The portfolio picks itself. Tag your photos (
shower, herringbone, curbless, backsplash) and BidCraft matches them to each job's scope. Curbless shower job, curbless shower photos. Swap any of them per proposal if you'd rather show something else. - Insurance that watches its own expiration. Put the date on your certificate and it stops attaching to new proposals when it lapses — with an amber Expired chip so you know to grab the renewal. Proposals already sent are untouched.
- The PDF brings the paperwork. Download it and your certificates and documents are appended as real pages. One file, everything in it, instead of an email with four attachments and a hope.
- The portal gets it all for free. Badges land on About Us, your documents get a "From your contractor" group, and the photos from their proposal show up as "Our recent work." Zero setup per client.
Haven't uploaded anything? Your proposals look exactly like they did yesterday. Every section stays hidden until there's something worth showing.
