A floor-to-ceiling note or a labelled niche on an elevation now counts

A floor-to-ceiling note on an elevation sizes that wall, a wall with a length and no tile height is asked about instead of skipped, and a niche the drawing only labels is counted.

A floor-to-ceiling note or a labelled niche on an elevation now counts

Four fixes to what a drawing set says about walls. Everything here is still a suggestion or a question, and nothing prices until you tap it.

"Wall tile floor to ceiling" is read

When an elevation's notes say the wall tile runs floor to ceiling, that wall is now offered at its full length times the ceiling height the sheet prints. The question tells you nothing has been taken out for the door, window or cabinets on that wall, so you can take them out before you accept it. A wainscot on the room's other walls stays a wainscot.

A wall with no tile height gets a question

A wall the elevation dimensions but never gives a tile height used to come back with nothing at all. Now you get one question for that surface — how many square feet are tiled — with the lengths the sheet prints underneath. Tap Pick… and type the area.

Two tile heights on one wall are asked about

When a sheet prints two different tile heights and doesn't say which part of the wall stops at which, you're shown both and asked, instead of getting an average or nothing.

A labelled niche is counted

A shower view that draws a niche and just writes NICHE in it now counts as one niche on that shower, like one the sheet dimensions.

Old suggestions a re-read no longer produces are also taken off the room, so a figure from an earlier read of the same sheet doesn't hang around.
