Your account settings
There are two different kinds of "settings" in BidCraft and it's worth knowing which is which. Your personal settings affect just you — your name and photo, your notification preferences, your theme. Your company settings affect every proposal your team sends out — business name, logo, service area. This article covers both, plus the smaller stuff like signing out and recovering a forgotten password.
Your personal profile
Open My Profile (click your name at the bottom of the sidebar). This is where your individual info lives:
- Your name — click it to edit. This is the name that goes on proposals you send.
- Your photo — upload one so your teammates can pick you out on the schedule.
- Phone — your personal number, for your crew and the office.
- Notifications — per-category toggles for the alerts that reach your phone. Each person controls their own.
- Celebrations — a Celebration sounds switch for the little chime that plays when you level up, hit a new rank or send your first proposal. Until you choose, it's on for a computer and off for a phone. Only shows when your shop has the Guild switched on.
- Further down: your role, skills, certifications, bio, emergency contact, and availability.
Your login email is shown here but can't be edited in the app — if you need it changed, contact support. There's no change-password screen either; to set a new password, use the Forgot password flow below. It works the same whether you've forgotten yours or just want a fresh one.
There's also a Signature section on this page where your saved proposal signature lives — upload, type, or draw a new one any time with Change signature, or clear it with Remove signature. Full walkthrough at Setting up your signature. Signatures are per-person, not per-company, so each user on your team manages their own here.
Your business profile
Open Settings → Company Profile in the sidebar. This is the data that shows up on every proposal and every client-facing email your team sends:
- Business name — the headline at the top of every proposal
- Trade — tile contractor, bathroom remodeler, etc.
- Logo — hit Upload logo (or Change logo once one is set) to swap it out
- Services offered and service area — the work you do and the cities you cover (you can generate the service area in plain English: "30 minutes from Austin including Round Rock and Pflugerville")
- Business phone and business email — the contact details clients see, and the address their replies go to
The same page also shows a read-only summary of your pricing, proposal, and integration setup, each with a link through to the page where you change it.
These fields are shared across your whole team. If your admin updates the logo, every proposal your teammates send afterward uses the new logo automatically.
[!tip] Upload a transparent PNG of your logo, sized somewhere between 500–1000 pixels wide. It gets resized automatically for proposals, emails, and the dashboard, but the source needs to be sharp.
Theme toggle
In the sidebar there's a sun/moon icon. Tap it to switch between dark mode (the default) and light mode. The choice is saved per device, so your phone can be dark while your laptop is light if you want.
The proposals you send to clients always render in light mode regardless of which theme you've picked — clients see a clean, light document no matter what.
Signing out
Bottom of the sidebar, there's a Sign out button. It immediately ends your session on this device. If you've lost a phone and want to cut off every device at once, run the Forgot password flow below and set a new password — that's the cleanest way to invalidate the old sessions.
Deleting your data or your account
At the bottom of My Profile there's a Your data card with one link: Delete your data or account. It only shows on your own profile — you won't see it when you're looking at a teammate's.
There are two different things you might mean by "delete," and the page covers both:
- Delete specific data, keep your account. You don't need that page for this — you can do it yourself in the app right now. Trash a whole project from the project card or from its Actions menu, or hit the trash icon on a single photo, voice note, or receipt. Deleting in the app is immediate.
- Close your account entirely. Fill in the short form on that page (or email us) and we'll verify it's really you by email, then remove your account and its data. This works even if you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in anymore.
[!warning] Closing your account removes your projects, proposals, photos, and pricing setup. If you just want to stop being billed, cancel your subscription from the Billing page instead — that leaves your data alone.
Removing a teammate is a different job and lives on the Team tab of Time & Team. See Inviting and managing team members.
Forgot your password
If you can't log in, go to the login page and tap Forgot password. Enter your email and you'll get a reset link. The link is good for 1 hour from when you request it.
Paid but never set a password
When you buy BidCraft, we email you a link to set your password, and the thank-you page after checkout shows the same button. Both work until you set your password, so it doesn't matter which one you use. Each link is good for 7 days. Once your password is set, every setup link stops working and you just log in.
If you never got around to it, or the link expired:
- Go to the login page, tap Forgot password, and enter the email you paid with. Instead of a reset link, you'll get a fresh link to finish setting up your account.
- If you open an old setup link, the page tells you it no longer works and gives you an Email me a new link box right there.
- If you try to buy again with the same email, we won't charge you twice. We email you a new setup link instead.
We also send a reminder with a fresh link about a day after you buy, and again about three days after, until your password is set.
If you never receive the email:
- Check your spam folder (it'll come from BidCraft Tile)
- Make sure you typed the email address you actually signed up with — the address on your owner account is often different from the one a teammate account was invited under
- If you've been added to multiple BidCraft companies, your email might exist under a different one than you remember
If you're still stuck, ask your team's owner or admin to send you a new invite — that creates a fresh password setup link. If you're the one who bought the account, email andy@businessupai.com and we'll send you a new link.
Next steps
Email andy@businessupai.com and a real person on the BidCraft Tile team will get back to you. If you're signed in, you can also ask Biddy from any page in the app.
