Privacy Policy

Effective July 12, 2026

This policy explains what BidCraft Tile collects, why, and who we share it with. BidCraft Tile is operated by BusinessUp AI LLC (“BusinessUp AI”, “we”, “us”). It applies to our website, web app, and mobile apps (together, the “Service”).

1. Who this policy is for

BidCraft Tile is a business tool for contractors. Most people using it are contractors and their team members. Contractors also store information about their own customers(homeowners) in the Service — see “Information about your customers” below, which explains how that works and who is responsible for it.

2. Information we collect

Account and business information. When you sign up or set up your company, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, and a password (which we store only as a secure hash, never in plain text). You may also upload a company logo and add your service area, pricing settings, services, and materials.

Content you upload about a job. To produce estimates and proposals, the Service accepts and stores:

  • Photos and walkthrough videos of a job site
  • Voice recordings and their transcripts
  • Typed notes, handwritten notes, and floor plans
  • Receipts and expense records (photos, voice notes, or typed entries)

Information about your customers. When you create a project, you may enter your customer’s name, email address, phone number, and job address, and upload photos of their property. If you send a proposal, we also record when it was viewed and store the electronic signature, along with the signer’s name, email, IP address, browser information, and timestamp, so the signed record can be verified.

Payment information. Subscription payments and, if you enable invoicing, payments from your customers are processed by Stripe. Card numbers and bank details go directly to Stripe — we never receive or store full card or bank account numbers. We keep records such as amounts, dates, invoice status, and the last four digits of a card.

Usage and device information. We record which pages you view and which features you use, along with device and browser information, your IP address (used for security, fraud prevention, and the signature audit trail), and diagnostic data when something goes wrong (error reports). We use this to keep the Service working and to improve it.

Location. We do notcurrently collect GPS or device location. If we add location-based features in the future — for example, letting a crew member clock in at a job site — we will ask for your permission on your device first, use the location only for that purpose, and update this policy before the feature goes live.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell advertising.

3. How we use information

  • To provide the Service: create and store your projects and proposals
  • To generate estimates, measurements, material lists, and proposal text using artificial intelligence (see section 4)
  • To process subscription payments and, if enabled, customer invoices
  • To send transactional email — account setup, password resets, team invitations, proposals, invoices, and receipts
  • To provide support and respond to your requests
  • To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and fix problems
  • To understand which features are used so we can improve the product

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. How artificial intelligence is used

BidCraft Tile uses AI to read job-site photos and videos, transcribe voice notes, read receipts, and draft proposals. To do this, the relevant content (for example, a photo of a bathroom, or a voice note) is sent to our AI providers, who process it and return a result. These providers act on our behalf under business agreements, and under those agreements they do not use your content to train their models.

AI output is an estimate, not a guarantee. Measurements, quantities, and prices produced by the Service can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying them before relying on them or sending them to a customer. See our Terms of Service.

5. Who we share information with

We share information with service providers who help us run the Service. They may only use it to provide services to us:

  • Supabase— database and file storage (your projects, photos, videos, recordings, receipts)
  • Vercel— application hosting
  • Anthropic and Google— AI analysis of photos, videos, and documents, and proposal generation
  • Deepgram— converting voice recordings to text
  • Stripe— subscription billing and customer payments
  • Resend— sending transactional email
  • Sentry— error and crash diagnostics
  • Trigger.dev— running background analysis jobs
  • HighLevel— only if you choose to connect your own HighLevel account, to sync contacts, products, and invoices

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, to protect the rights and safety of any person, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will notify you).

6. Information about your customers

When you put your customer’s details or photos of their property into BidCraft Tile, you decide what to collect and why; we process it on your behalf to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the right to collect and share that information with us, and for telling your customers how you handle it, as required by the laws that apply to your business.

If you are a homeowner who received a proposal or invoice and you want your information corrected or deleted, please contact the contractor who sent it. You may also contact us at andy@businessupai.com and we will help route your request.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your account and project information for as long as your account is active. If you delete a project, its photos, videos, recordings, and receipts are removed from our systems. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes.

8. Your choices and rights

You can view and edit most of your information directly in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email andy@businessupai.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

You can also delete your account entirely by contacting us, which removes your projects and uploaded content as described in section 7.

9. Security

We protect information in transit with encryption (HTTPS), store passwords only as secure hashes, and restrict access to your data to what is needed to run the Service. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we discover a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Children

BidCraft Tile is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
