Welcome to the Community

The Community is a shared space where every BidCraft contractor hangs out in one place. It's not tied to your company or your projects — it's the whole guild of tile pros under one roof. Pop in to ask a question, show off a finished shower, float an idea for the app, or just see who else is out there doing the same work you do. You'll find it as the Community tab in the left sidebar (and under More on your phone).

What's in there

When you open Community you land right in a conversation: General Discussion the first time, and after that whichever channel or direct message you were last in. Switch rooms from the list on the left (on your phone, tap the back arrow at the top of the chat to see the list). Think of each channel as a room with a topic:

• General Discussion — the main floor. Anything goes: job stories, tool talk, "how would you price this?"
• Tile Game — show your work. Before-and-afters, tricky layouts, the stuff you're proud of.
• App Ideas — tell us what BidCraft should do next. The team reads this one.
• Group Calls — coordinate the live community calls and catch what you missed.

Anyone in the community can read and post in any channel. There's no approval queue — you're already in.

Your community name

The first time you open Community, BidCraft sets you up with a display name (your name, or the front of your email if we don't have one yet). That's the name other pros see on your messages. You can change it any time from the community settings — along with how much of your business shows next to your name.

[!tip] Set a display name people will recognize at the next group call. "Mike — Atlanta tile" beats "mike83" every time.

Saying hello

The fastest way to get value out of the Community is to post once. Drop into General Discussion and introduce yourself: where you're based, what kind of work you focus on, and one thing you're trying to get better at. You'll be surprised how fast someone chimes in.
