Know your numbers? Skip the photos

You can now build a proposal without uploading a single photo — pick a project type, type your measurements into a tailored grid, and draft the scope straight from your numbers. Or build the scope by hand from a template.

Know your numbers? Skip the photos

Photos are great when you need BidCraft to find your measurements. But sometimes you already know them — you walked the job and jotted them down, you're bidding off a plan, or you just want to rough out a number fast. Now you don't have to upload a thing.

Pick a type, type your measurements

The moment you pick a project type on a new project, an empty measurements table tailored to that exact type shows up in Measurements & Scope. A shower remodel asks for shower width and depth, wall area, floor area, and niches. A backsplash asks for wall area and linear feet. Each type asks for the numbers that actually drive its pricing — no blank field hunting.

Type your measurements into the rows. They feed the proposal pricing the same way numbers pulled off a photo would. Once the required measurements are filled in, the Draft Scope of Work button unlocks and the AI drafts the work list from your typed numbers alone.

Or build the scope by hand

Rather skip the AI draft entirely? Choose Build scope manually and start one of two ways:

  • Start from the project-type template — pre-fills the standard work lines for that type. A shower remodel drops in demo, waterproofing, tile, and trim, all laid out and ready to tweak.
  • Start blank — an empty list you fill yourself, including pulling services straight from your catalog.

Either way you edit the lines and hit Lock & build proposal like normal. Handy when you've done this exact job a hundred times and already know every line.

Pick a type, type the numbers, draft (or hand-build) the scope, build the proposal — minutes, no photos. The photo step is still there when you want the AI's eyes on the job, and out of the way when you don't.
