The community calendar
The Community has a Calendar — a month-at-a-glance view of upcoming calls and meetups with other tile pros. Open it from the Calendar link in the Community sidebar.
Finding your way around
The calendar shows a full month. Use the arrows to move between months, or tap Today to jump back to the current one. Events sit on the day they happen, showing the start time and title. Tap any event to open it and see the details.
On a phone, tap a day to see everything scheduled that day, then tap an event for its details.
Joining a call
Open an event and you'll see when it is (shown in your time zone), who's hosting, and what it's about. If there's a call to join, a Join the call button gives you the link right at start time.
You can let the host know if you're coming: Going, Maybe, or Can't. Your RSVP helps them plan, and you can change it anytime.
Group and invite-only calls
Not every call is open to everyone. A call can be for:
- Everyone — anyone in the Community can join.
- A membership group — a hand-picked group, like a coaching or full-service program. You'll still see these on the calendar (title, time, and what they're about), but they show with a 🔒, and the join link and RSVP are held back unless you're in the group. If it's a paid program, an Upgrade to join button takes you to where you can sign up.
- Invite-only — limited to the members the host personally invited. Same deal: you see it on the calendar with a 🔒, but you can't join unless you were invited.
We show locked calls on purpose — so you can see what's happening in the programs you're not part of yet and decide whether to join.
Getting invited
A host can personally invite you to a call. When they do, that event gets an Invited tag, and the Calendar link in the sidebar shows a small badge so you don't miss it. RSVP and the badge clears.
Hosting your own call
Creating events is limited to community organizers to start with. If we've turned hosting on for you, you'll see a + New event button on the calendar. Creating a call is quick:
- Give it a title and, if you like, a description.
- Pick the start (and optionally an end) — in your own time zone; everyone else sees it converted to theirs.
- Paste your meeting link (Zoom, Google Meet, whatever you use) so attendees can join. We don't host the video — we just hand out your link.
- Choose who can join: everyone, a specific membership group, or invite-only. Everyone still sees the event on the calendar; only the audience you pick gets the link and can RSVP. Membership groups are set up by the community organizers — if you need one for your program, reach out to them.
- Set it to repeat if it's a standing call: weekly, every 2 weeks, every weekday, or monthly. Leave it Ongoing and it just keeps going (the calendar fills in future dates as you scroll ahead), or cap it with an end date or a number of times.
- Pick a color to help it stand out on the calendar — handy for telling different kinds of calls apart at a glance.
Once it's live you can edit it, invite specific members, cancel it, or delete it. For a repeating call, canceling gives you two choices: Cancel this one (just that date) or Cancel all upcoming (ends the whole series).
Cancel vs. delete: Canceling keeps the call on the calendar marked Canceled so anyone who RSVP'd sees it's off. Deleting removes it from the calendar entirely — use it to clear out test events or tidy up canceled ones. You can delete a single occurrence (Delete this one) or a whole repeating series (Delete entire series), and delete is available even after a call has been canceled.
