Sharing photos in the community

Got a tile layout to show off, a tricky substrate situation, or a finished bathroom you're proud of? Attach photos to any community message or thread reply and let the work speak for itself.

How to attach a photo

1. Click the paperclip icon next to the message box — in a channel, a DM, or a thread reply.
2. Pick one or more photos from your device. You can also drag an image straight onto the chat window, or paste one from your clipboard.
3. A small preview appears below the message box. Add your message if you like, then hit Send.

A few things to know

• You can attach up to 4 images per message.
• Each image can be up to 10 MB. BidCraft automatically resizes large photos so they load quickly for everyone — you don't need to resize before uploading.
• Animated GIFs play. Attach a GIF (or an animated WebP) and it keeps moving in the feed. Big ones are scaled down like photos are, without losing the animation.
• Photos in a channel post are visible to everyone who can see that channel. Photos in a DM are just between the two of you.
• Thread replies work the same way — open a thread and use the paperclip to attach photos to your reply.

Viewing photos others have shared

Photos show inline in the message feed. Tap once to open a full-size view. Use the arrow buttons to step through multiple photos in the same message.
