Tap a job on your home screen and you land on the project itself — the same project page the office uses, showing the parts of it that belong on a job site.

The top of the page

The job name and its status, then one line with the client, the address and the phone number. Tap the address to open maps. Tap the number to call.

Clock in sits beside it. That's the button that matters — it puts your hours against this job. See Clocking in and out.

The buttons under it

A row of buttons runs across the page. Yours are:

  • Home — where the job stands, and what's worth doing next.
  • Capture — the rooms. Photos, video and notes go in here, and the measurements sit under them. If a number looks wrong, don't guess and don't change it — flag it (below).
  • Schedule — the tasks on this job, yours highlighted. Materials to bring is here too, just above the task list — tap it open for the load list, grouped by the work it belongs to.
  • Feed — the job so far. Every photo anyone's taken on this job, and where you add yours.
  • ⚠ Change — tell the office something on site doesn't match the plan.

+ Quick add at the end of the row is the fast path to a receipt, a photo or a voice note without going hunting for the right screen.

The bring list

Materials to bring, on the Schedule page, answers one question: what goes in the truck. Every item with how many and what unit, grouped by the work it's for — so the four sheets of backer board sit under the waterproofing, not in one long pile. Notes the office added show under each item ("cut two down for the curb").

No prices. That's on purpose — pricing is the office's business, and you've got a list to load.

If the list is short something, or it doesn't match what's actually on site, flag it rather than guessing.

The measurements

📐 Measure shows the totals up top — floor, wall, perimeter — then each room with its surfaces and fixtures. Cut to these numbers.

You can't edit them here, and that's deliberate: the whole job is priced off these, so a change has to go through the office. Which is what the next button is for.

⚠ Change — telling the office

Found something the plan didn't account for? Subfloor's rotted. Wall isn't where the drawing says. Homeowner just asked for a second niche.

Tap ⚠ Change, say what you're looking at in your own words, add a photo if it helps, hit send. That's it — go back to work.

What happens next, without you doing anything:

  • it lands on the office's task list,
  • their phone buzzes,
  • and the job shows a flag on their end until they've dealt with it.

They decide whether it needs a change order and write it. You've done your part by saying something before it got buried in a wall.

A few things worth flagging:

  • work nobody priced (rot, old tile under new tile, a surprise behind the drywall),
  • measurements that don't match what you're standing in,
  • the homeowner asking for something extra,
  • materials that are wrong, short, or damaged.

When in doubt, flag it. A thirty-second note beats a Tuesday argument.

Photos

📸 Photos is the job's photo feed — everything anyone has shot on this job, newest first, whether it went on a task or not. Tap 📷 Add photos to add yours — Take a photo for the one in front of you, Choose from library to post several at once.

You can comment on any photo, and you'll see which ones the office has shared with the homeowner. Sharing itself is theirs to decide — take the shots, they pick the ones the client gets. Full details in the job photo feed.

Receipts

🧾 Receipts is the same flow as the + Add receipt button on your home screen — photo, voice note, or type it in. You see the receipts you logged yourself. See Logging receipts.

What you won't see

No proposal, no costs, no invoices, no client messages. Those are the office's side of the job. If you need something off one of them, ask — or flag it with ⚠ Change and it'll get to the right person.
