Open a project and tap πΈ Photos. That's the job feed: every photo anyone has taken on this job, newest at the top.
It pulls from two places at once β photos posted on a task, and loose photos somebody grabbed on the way past without a task in mind. You don't have to remember which is which. It's one list.
Everybody on the job sees it. Crew, sales, the office β the same feed. Photos aren't money, so nothing gets hidden by role here.
What a post looks like
Photos group into posts by who took them, what they tagged, and what day it was. Three shots of the same shower prep from the same person on the same afternoon is one entry, not three:
Today 2:14p Β· Marcus Β· tagged Tile prep π¬ 2 comments Β· shared with homeowner β
Tap any thumbnail to open it full size.
Add photos
Tap π· Add photos and pick how:
- Take a photo β opens the camera straight away. One shot, fastest path.
- Choose from library β pick several at once from your camera roll.
Before you post, you get two optional fields:
- A caption β what are we looking at.
- A task β tag the batch to something on the schedule, or leave it as "No task β just the job."
Then Post to the feed. Big files are fine; the photos go straight to storage rather than through the app, so a full-resolution phone photo uploads without complaint.
You can tag a loose photo to a task later, or change the tag, from the photo's full-size view.
Comments
Tap a photo, and the conversation about it is right underneath.
Where that conversation lives depends on where the photo came from:
- A photo posted on a task shows that task's thread β the exact same comments you'd see inside the task. Reply from either place; it's one conversation.
- A loose photo gets its own short thread on the job.
Either way you type in the box and hit Enter.
Sharing with the homeowner
Under each photo (and on each post) is the share state β shared with homeowner β, partly shared, or not shared.
Owners and admins can tap it to flip it. Anything shared shows up in the client's customer portal Photos tab, and un-sharing pulls it straight back out.
Crew and sales see the state but not the switch. Everyone should be taking photos; deciding which ones a homeowner sees is an office call. Nothing reaches a client until somebody in the office says so, so the messy mid-demo shots stay in-house by default.
The Showcase nudge
Partway down the feed you'll see a dashed gold line like:
β¦ Showcase still wants: Before & After Set Β· Job Walkthrough Β· Client Review
That's your Showcase Collection telling you what it hasn't got from this job yet. It's there because the feed is where you already are with a phone in your hand β the after shot you don't take today is the one you can never take.
Owners and admins can tap it to jump straight to the Collection. Crew see the list without the link; grabbing the shot is the useful part.
Deleting
Tap a photo, then Delete. You can delete your own; owners and admins can delete anyone's. It disappears from the feed and from the homeowner's gallery at the same time.
