Crew open the real project page now — and can flag a change from it

Crew members get the schedule, the measurements, a price-free bring list and receipts on the actual project page, plus a ⚠ Change button that puts a job-site problem straight on the office's list.

Crew open the real project page now

Tapping a job used to take a crew member to a stripped-down screen: the name, a clock-in button, their tasks, receipts. Nothing else. If they needed to know how many sheets of backer board to grab, or what the shower floor measured, they called the office.

Now they open the same project page everyone else does, showing the parts of it that belong on a job site.

What crew get

A row of buttons across the page:

  • 🗓 Schedule — the tasks on the job. Where they land.
  • 📐 Measure — the measurements, room by room, read-only.
  • 📦 Materials — the bring list.
  • 🧾 Receipts — same flow as before.
  • ⚠ Change — new. More on that below.

The header carries the client, the address (tappable — opens maps), the phone number (tappable — dials), and Clock in.

The bring list

📦 Materials shows every item with how many and what unit, grouped by the work it's for — the four sheets of backer board sit under the waterproofing, not in one long pile. Any note the office added rides along with the item.

No prices anywhere on it. Crew still see no dollar figures anywhere in BidCraft except the receipts they log themselves — that hasn't changed, and none of the new screens bend it.

⚠ Change — the field tells the office

The big one. Somebody finds rot under the tub, or a wall that isn't where the drawing says, or the homeowner asks for a second niche. Before, that was a text message you read at seven at night.

Now they tap ⚠ Change, type what they're looking at, add a photo if it helps, and send.

On your end, three things happen at once:

  • a high-priority task lands on your list, with their words and a link to the project,
  • your phone gets a notification,
  • and the project's Proposal button wears a flag until you've dealt with it.

Open the project and there's an amber panel above the proposal with what they said and their photos. Two buttons:

  • Write the change order — opens the change-order builder with their words already in the notes. No retyping.
  • Nothing to change — for the ones that resolve with a phone call. Closes the request and its task.

You can turn the notification off under Office → My Profile → Notifications if you'd rather just see the task.

What didn't change

Task editing, scheduling and assignment are still owner/admin only — crew read the schedule and work their own tasks exactly as before. The receipt flow, the timesheet, clocking in and out: all untouched. Your own project page is identical.
