Every photo on a job, in one feed

The new ๐Ÿ“ธ Photos section on a project shows every photo anyone has taken โ€” task photos and loose ones together, newest first โ€” with comments, per-photo sharing to the homeowner, and a nudge about the Showcase shots you haven't grabbed yet.

Every photo on a job, in one feed

Job photos have been scattered. Some are on tasks. Some got taken and never went anywhere, because there was no task to put them on and nobody wanted to invent one. Wanting to see "what did we shoot at the Hendricks place" meant opening tasks one at a time.

There's a ๐Ÿ“ธ Photos button on the project now. That's the whole job, newest first.

What's in it

Every photo, from both places at once โ€” the ones posted on tasks and the loose ones somebody grabbed on the way past. They group into posts by who took them and what they were working on, so an afternoon reads like an afternoon:

Today 2:14p ยท Marcus ยท tagged Tile prep ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2 comments ยท shared with homeowner โœ“

Tap a thumbnail for the full shot and the conversation about it.

Adding photos

๐Ÿ“ท Add photos gives you two ways in: Take a photo goes straight to the camera, Choose from library lets you grab several at once. Add a caption if you want, optionally tag the batch to a task, post.

Loose photos are fine. If you're standing in front of something worth a photo, take it โ€” you can tag it to a task later or never.

Full-resolution phone photos upload without trouble now; they go straight to storage instead of through the app.

Comments stay where they were

Tap a photo that was posted on a task and you get that task's thread โ€” the same comments, the same conversation, just reachable from a second place. Reply from either side. Nothing moved.

Loose photos get their own short thread on the job.

Sharing is an office call now

Under each photo and each post is its share state: shared with homeowner โœ“, partly shared, or not shared. Owners and admins tap it to flip it, and anything shared lands in the client's portal Photos tab.

This is a change. Crew and sales used to be able to share a task photo to the client; now they see whether something's shared but can't change it. Everyone should be taking photos. Deciding which ones a homeowner sees belongs with whoever owns the client relationship.

The Showcase nudge

Partway down the feed:

โœฆ Showcase still wants: Before & After Set ยท Job Walkthrough ยท Client Review

That's your Showcase Collection saying what it hasn't got from this job. It sits in the feed because that's where you already are with the phone out โ€” the after shot you skip today is the one you can't go back for.

Everyone sees the feed

Crew, sales, the office: same feed, same comments. Photos aren't money, so the no-dollars rule has nothing to hide here. Crew get ๐Ÿ“ธ Photos on their chip row between the bring list and receipts.
